Creating product champions
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to get up and running. You can implement the tool to solve immediately problems and then continue to evolve your courseware to meet your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The look and feel is highly customizable with a background in CSS. I have to rely on marketing for their help to get the site looking good. It would also be great to have content creation within the tool vs having to build it elsewhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are scaling our training. Right now, we do 1:1 training sessions that are time consuming for our customers and users. Having skilljar gives our customers the option to learn on their own time at their own pace.
Great customer service; standard features
What do you like best about the product?
All the core features of a standard LMS, like managing SCORM files and basic data analytics, are smooth and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are buried under different menus, and if you don't know where to look it can be hard to find the right checkbox for the feature you want to enable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Self-paced on-demand classes and certification exams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great standard features and great customer support/education, but depending on your specific budget and requirements it may not be the best choice for YOUR org.
Personable service and support.
What do you like best about the product?
The Skilljar platform can be as out of the box or as customized as you need it to be. It's fast and easy to get up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics and reporting experience could use improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to train 97% of our accounts using Skilljar vs traditional ILT. It's allowed us to scale more efficiently.
I’ve used Skilljar for our customer education

What do you dislike about the product?
No issues so far, the user interface is straightforward
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the need to teach our clients how to use our tool is a straightforward manner
Skilljar: Great for Customer Education But Limited Authored File Types
What do you like best about the product?
East interface, great team. It's excellent when working with customers from lots of organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to be able to work with more than SCORM 1.2 upload coarses and more detail (like tincan).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved asynchronous onboarding and training, which has led to improved renewals and overall experiences for customers.
Skilljar fits seamlessly into your tech stack
What do you like best about the product?
Superior front end catalog and course player for end-user experience
What do you dislike about the product?
Admin experience for certain processes needs to be unlocked for editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer-specific platform that can integrate with our other platforms and analytics tools
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to consider all of the integrations that may be used with your skilljar implementation because it meets you where youre already working. Great end user interface. Could use some opening of admin rights but nothing show stopping

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Northpass
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Northpass are providing a reliable LMS for our CX Academy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would certainly recommend Northpass to others.
Flexile and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of this application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Troubleshooting on my own isn't always easy to do, but the support team has always been available to help when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a more complete site for our eLearning tutorials.
Client Training and Certification Manager (former)
What do you like best about the product?
Northpass has best-in-class client services representation. I worked with their team for nearly three years and never felt in the dark about any issue or inquiry.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I didn't directly dislike anything about my Northpass experience, I think that there were certain adjustments they could make to learning customization options to create a more agile experience for learners and designers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My former organization never had a learning or certification hub for our customers. After engaging with Northpass, we were able to deploy our unique training within a clean, functional environment (Northpass) and use Northpass's integrations with trusted certification vendors to incentivize our customers to train.
Simple system that is easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build a learning management for both internal employees and external clients is harder to find than I would have thought. Because Northpass is focused solely on the ability to build on-demand training, it's simplicity allows you to use those courses in whatever way you want/need.
The Northpass system is also very intuitive. You can hop in, having never built a course before, and be able to build something in a relatively timely manner.

What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics around Northpass have always left me a little wanting. I know that they are currently in a revamp of those so my hopes of improvement are high but I haven't ever really been able to build a simple dashboard that had everything I wanted in a quick view.
The other thing that I have struggled with is that once you get past the basics...you need coding. In order to be able to personalize your home screen, or categorize your content so that clients can choose and narrow down their paths are all difficult things to do. I would love to be able to work on slightly more complex things without need to pay for that service or need development help in coding.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal training for employees, i.e. onboarding. External training for clients on known struggles, known problems, consistent goals, etc. And the ability to build specific courses that tailer themselves to specific teams and groups is proving to become very helpful.
