4+ Years Active Skilljar User
What do you like best about the product?
The Skilljar software tool is easy to learn, customer support/service is first class. As I started to use the software it became obvious the developers had put thought into the UI, everything was intuitive and made sense. I wasn't an expert after but I understood the complexities within a couple of weeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I've run into is our company heavily relies on promo codes, since we use promo codes heavily space quickly becomes overwhelmed and harder to manage. I'd like to see an "Inactive tab" as well as an "Active tab"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Skilljar to train our HMIS users and employees. The biggest benefit is the flexibility to achieve our goals through the analysis of the data. Skilljar Integrations are a valuable part of what we will do in the future.
Customer Focused
What do you like best about the product?
The support provided by our success manager and from the wider team has been second to none. They are consistently responsive to our needs, and the software is functional and easy to modify. Northpass has been instrumental in helping us build a culture of continuous learning and education.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the reporting functions to be not as user-friendly as the platform itself. I wish there were options to create more customized reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Northpass helped us create a foundation and culture of learning.
Excellent learning management software
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create courses and give the right people access to them. We use this internally to train employees and externally to get customers access to specific pieces of training content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really nothing at all. It's simple and effective to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create custom training very easily. It means that we don't have long turnaround times for items that need a custom training course and that we have the ability to provide customized and scaleable content.
Intuitive LMS solution and high class support
What do you like best about the product?
The simple yet effective interface means you can quickly build courses and learning paths
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning experience out of the box is a little bland
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now able to deliver blended learning solutions at a time when we needed them most. The rollout of our hugely important Toni&Guy Client Promise training program was a true success. In addition, we are now scoping plans to build out the platform to include career tracking and the Toni&Guy Passport.

What do you like best about the product?
It's great if you are one of the kinds of organizations that they cater to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of customizable options, like customizing emails, certificates, and other elements within the platform. Lack interactive community features, poor event features. Low priority at implementing feature requests as well as resolving bugs.

What do you like best about the product?
This app allows us to easily put together a course and create coupons for it.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to get data out of this app, however, you will have a difficult time and likely need the help of an API expert.

We needed a certification course for our OSS. We chose Skilljar first.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can use it to get something out of the door. Don't expect to be able to easily make contact reporting based on Skilljar data
The easiest way to teach our customers everything they need to know!
What do you like best about the product?
There are many to list here, but the two that stand out for me are: first, the very ease with which you can implement almost anything in the Northpass backend and, second, the outstanding support when it comes to anything more custom. Northpass provides us with an exceptional system to educate our customers while educating us equally through their Support department!
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, there is only one downside, which is that updates to courses reset the progress of learners that have not completed the course yet. As always, this is currently being taken care of, and a short-term fix has already been implemented, thanks to the quick action by Northpass Support!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use a tool that seems complex at first sight and therefore requires some training before usage. Northpass enables us to teach our customers everything they need to get started, thereby helping us improve our service and helping our customers be more successful!

The ability to design custom learning pathways w/ custom notifications

We use Outlook and event registration does not sync. We would like to see Managers have access to learning pathway analytics.

We can now offer virtual training - we had no LMS prior.
Love the platform - super simple to use and very intuitive!
What do you like best about the product?
I work at a healthcare software company and we were trying to find a way to distribute different tutorials to the different user-types of our product. The user roles feature within Northpass was a perfect fit! We can categorize our content based on the different user-types we're targeting, or the different versions of software they are using. I also like that you can create several different types of content, including quizzes. I think the way courses are set up is very intuitive for the users as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, there isn't anything notable that I don't like about using Northpass!

We needed a learning site platform for our healthcare software users, and we needed a way to deliver different content to different user-types. Northpass is a great solution for us.
Great Customer Service!
What do you like best about the product?
Northpass Customer Care has been top-notch. We've had a designated specialist walk with us through the initial stages of building our courses who was always available to meet with us and answer questions. Whenever I have had a technical question, the team responded to me quickly. The team has felt accessible and willing to hear suggestions. We have been using Northpass for a few years now and I've been impressed with the upgrades they have been making all along.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quizzes and assignment upload features feel clunky. I end up using 3rd party apps, which Northpass has planned for, but I think I'd prefer to be able to create forms within Northpass. Navigation has not always been intuitive for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to create training materials for our global organization. During the pandemic, we were able to pivot many of our activities to virtual settings because we were already using Northpass.
