Easy to use platform with great customer service.
What do you like best about the product?
I recently started using Skilljar and I am blown away by how easy it is to use! The platform is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, making it a breeze to navigate and customize. If don't have much experience with HTML or CSS, no worries! Skilljar provides pre-made code snippets that you can easily plug in to customize your platform.
But what really sets Skilljar apart is their amazing customer service. Whenever I've had a question or issue, their support team has been quick to respond and incredibly helpful. It's clear that they truly care about their customers and are dedicated to providing the best possible experience.
Overall, I highly recommend Skilljar to anyone looking for a powerful, easy-to-use LMS with top-notch customer support.

What do you dislike about the product?
I recently used Skilljar and while I found it to be a useful platform for e-learning, I was disappointed with the lack of SCORM analytics. Specifically, I wish there was more visibility into user interaction within each SCORM file. With more analytics, I believe Skilljar would be even more valuable for tracking learner progress and improving course content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar Customer Education Platform is helping us improve completion rates by providing a user-friendly and engaging learning experience. This platform solves several problems related to customer education, such as difficulty in tracking progress, lack of engagement, and limited course accessibility. With Skilljar, we can easily monitor our learners' progress, create interactive content, and offer flexible course options that cater to different learning styles. By using this platform, we have seen a significant increase in completion rates. Overall, Skilljar has been a valuable tool for us in delivering effective and efficient customer education.
Skilljar Implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Skilljar has been great with the customization of branding and messaging, more robust analytics than our previous platform, we've been able to build out SSO and love the opportunity to monetize in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Majority of the reports are stock and cannot be manipulated, aside from drilling down into specific date ranges and group or domain analytics. I'd love to be able to add/remove columns in-app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar is helping solve the problem of delivering a more robust set of self-paced training offerings so that our onboarding team can focus more on the technical aspects of customer implementations, and our CSMs can partner with clients on strategy, rather than doing ad hoc training.
Okay product, but disappointing support when you need it
What do you like best about the product?
It's useful to have a variety of integrations and there's lots of useful resources like their developer center that allows you to add customizations to your site to give it enhanced features and atyle
What do you dislike about the product?
The support team has been lacking. While the support resources are good in their help center and university, the actual support team has been disappointing on more than one occasion. It seems often the first instinct is to use a knowledge base article and to not ask clarifying questions or provide actionable testing steps; reactive over proactive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's used to host the online university that sets up our new users and provides additional courses to specialize knowledge in other areas. It's been helpful to scaling education efforts across customers when it works as expected
Generally happy, but there are negatives
What do you like best about the product?
Skilljar support is fine. Reasonably quick to respond, etc. They took our CSM away and now we have to use a queue, and I absolutely hate that, but they are reasonably responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting. The reporting has improved some, but frankly it's still pretty abysmal. Frequently I have to export to CSV and do tons of work outside of Skilljar to get useful data. And I frequently get requests for access to data that I essentially can't help with, because the data isn't accessible in a usable way even when we put it into Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Skilljar for customer training and a customer certification program. Skilljar meets our basic needs. We had to do a lot of custom development to make the look and feel of Skilljar work for us, but we have achieved a pretty modern and aesthetically pleasing customer training experience.
Extremely smooth experience!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Token Based SSO and how seamless it is for our end users to login to our academy. We came from a previous LMS that didn't offer this, making it a poor user experience, so we are extremely thankful that Skilljar was able to support us on this front.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't experienced anything that I dislike yet! We are freshly out of Implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing our customers who are newly implementing our product, with a self service academy that allows them to consume courses on their time. We will also be utilizing federated search within ZenDesk, which will allow our customers to sdearch for a particular topic, and LMS coures relevant to their search will populate, which will hopefully cut down support response time or the need for a customer to even talk to our support team, because they have found the answer so quickly.
Adequate LMS solution with exceptional service
What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easy to create course content. Can publish the same course in multiple locations without duplication, easy to add new dashboard users
What do you dislike about the product?
while course content creation is fairly easy, the experience publishing/organizing/creating navigation for the content is not intuitive. This is also true of many settings such as labeling, groups. Difficult to make bulk edits. Aesthetics of courses leaves much to be desired and could use some more templates or styling help so that courses look good out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need for an internal training system that is repeatable, scalable, trackable, measurable. Before this system, all of our training was pretty tracked through spreadsheets

Ability to receive meaningful analytics.

Nothing to report on at this time, the platform is great.

Allows our organization the ability to see what customers are learning, where they are having issues, and saves our internal teams time by doing so!

Nothing we "dislike" just opportunities to grow further:
It would be nice to have the option to "bypass" northpass out-of-the box "course player" when working with SCORM files
AICC compatibility would be appretiated
It would be nice to be able to "mark courses as complete" on behalf of a user in some instances
Being able to add deadlines to an assigned course would also be great.
Being able to impersonate end-users as an administrator would also be a plus.

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Northpass is how video is integrated directly into the slide; we could play it there. Unlike with other platforms I tried before, whenever there is a video to play, it pops up another page, and sometimes access is restricted, and it causes a lot of delays. I somehow liked that there is a prerequisite course before I can take another one. This ensures that I have proper knowledge before taking a class.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything about the platform is great! My feedback is maybe not for Northpass but for the administrator. I would love it if the data or information were updated. This way, we know what is the latest trend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us learn on our own but still in a fun interactive way. This is realized by inserting videos within the slides prepared in advance. The trainer does not need to be constantly talking. After each course, we go through more examples and some questions.
Easy to use and implement
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using/administrating Northpass for our LMS for over 2 years. I have enjoyed being able to create the modules and continue to expand our knowledge base for our new clients. I appreciate the ease of use and documentation that supports how to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it integrated to Salesforce for free but I know all companies can't make integration easy or free just a wish not a complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Northpass is enabling my customers to use our product. It provides a self-service, at-pace product for my clients to onboard and understand our product. It also helps us enable security across our internal teams. We leverage a couple of courses internally to practice security for our organization.
