Robust financial reporting software
What do you like best about the product?
Plenty of features and constant upgrades. It makes our financial reporting process much easier and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have experienced the servers gonig down while working (rare occurance).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a software for efficient financial reporting.
Great tool for real time collaboration and data integrity
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva's real-time editing and collaboration features make completing documents or presentations among a team a breeze. Being able to flag or comment on certain sections for users to review and receive real time edits and feedback help produce awesome reports on the fly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the comment mentions/notifications via email could be improved upon, particularly if you have it set to consolidated daily emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is helping us work quicker and managing version controls of draft documents or presentations. Being able to create milestones and manage various draft versions throughout the processing and review process is super helpful.
Collaborative Powerhouse for all Teams
What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely user friendly and has a minimal learning curve if you are able to use Excel or PowerPoint. The features are designed very similarly and are fantastic for team collaboration. The linking feature also allows seamless automating of many tasks that would have otherwise required manual updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice to be able to use Excel keyboard shortcuts (Alt keys) to be able to be more efficient with formatting functions. Alternatively would like to see hotkeys for some of the most commonly used features like format painter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to centralize large sets of data across hundreds of users (that all submit datapoints) to our team. It helps us be able to manage this a lot easier as we have all spreadsheets linked to the final PowerPoint decks.

navigation around site is pretty easy...

For our company, sometimes performance is slow and non-responsive

Overall, Workiva allows our Organization to document all of our audit documentation in one location for all team members to use
not very good use case for internal documentation repository
What do you like best about the product?
it a centralized repository of all past documentation, so making document retrival easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't input NPI information as this is a third party platform.
The embedded spreadsheet is not as user friendly as excel.
Records sometime would be erased randomly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
centralizing internal audit/second line testing documentation
Inconsistent products, some good features but many pain points
What do you like best about the product?
Blackline function, tracking of who makes changes
What do you dislike about the product?
The excel within workiva does not have all of the features that excel does which makes doing work much more time comsuming. Formatting is challenging and changes without me trying to, with the accidental slip of the mouse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None, it is replacing a different product that also had its strenghts and weaknesses

What I like best about workiva is the linking function to multiple support papers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It crashes a lot. It can be very slow to open pages at times. Some functionalities are difficult to understand, such as rolling forward master documents and keeping linking files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows multiple users to edit the workpaper at one time and keep the support together
Very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how similar workiva is to Microsoft office, it makes working in workiva much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lag in workiva that sometimes slows down work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After talking to our workiva team, they share new and great features that we end up using.
Good product
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Workiva updates in real time and operates similarly to a Google sheet, but better. I also like the view function to filter on only my assignments without rearranging everything for all viewers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to using workiva is that we have to manually input from FCCS feeds

It helps us see account fluctuations and perform internal controls to catch errors.
Financial Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like how organized the platform is, i'm able to plan out each page of the FS and MDA, with bookmarks. As well, multiple users can edit the file simultaneously
What do you dislike about the product?
The connection could be slow at times, as it takes time to manoeuvre to different files or export files
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to issue FS and MD&As in a consistent manner, as we can link numbers to multiple sections
