Experience with Workiva
What do you like best about the product?
We utilize Workiva for management of our SOX program and keeping all data and documents in one place and this works great, we are in the product on a daily basis. There are many great features with the software. Implementing and integrating the software was smooth and efficient, while any questions we had were easily answered by customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do not have any dislikes about the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps one source of data for all parties to reference.
Workiva is a must in External Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is very user intutive. I like how simple it is to use and how easily you can work with other workers in the document.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are glitches that do not resolve themselves which can be frusturating. I also wish there was a way to "Cut" a paragraph and its links. I find myself moving a paragraph in the document and having to individually move each link one by one turing from a destination link to a source link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva makes the reporting process seamless and much easier than any other platform I have used.
Best efficiency and accuracy for complex collaborations
What do you like best about the product?
Amazing customer service. Any questions, our Rep is immediately and sometimes pro-actively responsive. The platform allows critical data to be controlled and single-source for all points in a publication. The collaboration of real-time updates, comments, and history audits allows a quicker completion of publications with the comfort of greater accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formatting gets messed up easily. Table of Contents with page links aren't generated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There always seems to be continual improvements to the platform that allow various functions to be used more easily or quickly.
Efficient SEC Report Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has streamlined our SEC Reporting process. It is super efficient once it is all set up. We have enhanced our reporting timeline in terms of efficiency and quality. Since everything is linked, it is easy to process last minute changes to the document. The collaboration with other users makes it effective and efficient to review the SEC documents. We can't say anything bad about the tool. We switched from another platform and it was the best deicision.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. The cost is more expensive compare to other platforms but you get what you pay for. It is worth every penny.

Inconsistencies in the document and inefficiencies in the to update

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to link and share information. The collaberation it offers saves time and effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can work slow. I feel like I"m not using the system to it's full potential.

consistency, ability to have multiple users working on the same document
Extremely useful platform
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ease of use with the platform with regard to the layout, comment function, draft reviews, and icons. It's saved our company a ton of time throughout the earnings process.
What do you dislike about the product?
We did have an issue a year ago with one piece of functionality that took a few days to diagnose and resolve. However Workiva was communicative throughout the entire process.

Workiva is helping us solution our earnings and disclosure process.
Workiva is a great Online Workpaper Solution!
What do you like best about the product?
There is not a need for anything to be kept in paper format. Everything is at your fingertips.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are issues with uploading and importing the documentation needed. When calling support, sometimes it takes days for a resolution to occur.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to pull out paper workfolders year after year, all documentation is online for our use.

What do you like best about the product?
How robust and consistent it is making edits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime it could be unclear about some functions are offered.

Prepare the quarter reporting.
I have used Workiva at multiple companies and it is a must have tool for organized reporting
What do you like best about the product?
The version control. Not having word documents numbered up to 80 floating around all year is so nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the formatting can get difficult to deal with. I think the document styles page was created to help with this but I find it hard to use.

Workiva is solving a version control issue as well as making a clean place for review comments

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is a reliable reporting tool that is farily easy to use once you get your environment setup and initial XBRL tagging completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Costs are well above market and very stringent process around XBRL tagging
