GRC - a tool helping auditors for testing control and reporting
What do you dislike about the product?
lack of hands on experieces which will help to enchance functuanalities within workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
yearly control roll forward acrtivities, data mess upload, more effectively to check on control gaps

Central, organized solution for our SOX management requests, testing and deficiency tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited ability of end user to develop dashboards and reporting on the fly. Too many simple changes or updates require a partner organization to complete the work to fully implement.

An organized and structured approach to our SOX compliance program.
Nice tool
What do you like best about the product?
I take comfort in the following about the tool: (1) the amount of peers that use the tool provides it a breadth of credibility throughout various organizations (2) competitor products do not have anywhere near the scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've not been as close to this in recent years, but the ability to use the Excel spreadsheets to have as close as possible to Excel functionality in the past has been limited. For example, creating a pivot table is not possible and my team have relied upon a series of IF and SUMIF formulaes to wrangle data into the correct format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Creates an official source of truth for various financial reports, GAAP statements, statutory statements etc.
2. Version control across our company has historically been an issue and this solves that through always knowing where the master document is stored.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to link documents with workbooks abd lock cells.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding instructions on how to do something can be a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to prepare memos /documents and link it to key finandia data, whcih is a big part of my role.
WDesk for SOX
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive and easy use. Great in creating to consistant workpapers across controls and across testing years. Makes SOX certifications easy to compile. Easy to track remdiations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Linking documents such as narratives to clickabe fields in the controls woud be nice.

Leveraging Workiva across several compliance functions across the company, including SOX and SEC Reporting

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva makes internal co trim and audit work so easy. I can plan, test, and report in the same modules and the inventory module helps support interdepartmental tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
The outages. Needs a few features around MAP and issue number automation, profile creations, and easier reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Audit and SOX testing… makes it easier to see real-time statuses of projects and controls.
Appreciate the ability to work on documents at the same time and create standardized templates

Some of the charts do not have dynamic capability to move numbers or override

Workiva financial reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I use Workiva for 10-Q/K financial reporting and I find it to be a very effective tool with number linking, formatting and allowing comparisons across different periods.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Workiva workbooks do not download easily into excel (i.e., retain number formatting & formulas) and you cannot set a default format for text or numbers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal consistency in financial reporting via linking of numbers and keeping financial reporting documents in one place

Workiva has good reporting functionality. It is also customizable which is helpful.

It can be hard to maintain saved files and can be slow at times.

Workiva is helpful with collaboration and reviews/approvals.
