Great Features, But Navigation Could Be More Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to link everything, the sync feature, relatively easy to use, customer support team is great and very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes finding specific tools or formatting documents is not very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am aware that they have been making significant advancements with AI, and I am looking forward to trying it out. I hope it will help me streamline and improve the efficiency of my current processes.

It is versatile and able to support multiple functions such as audit support and ESG.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a new tool and not one that is used on a daily basis which creates a learning curve.

Robust Risk Management Features Make Workiva a Standout
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva internal control and risk management modules have several features that facilitate robust risk-based monitoring and reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
In comparison to other product offerings, I don't see any major disadvantages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps keep our risk and control matrix organized. The tool allows us to track internal controls testing and easily assign control owners and reviewers.
Clean UI That Gets the Job Done
What do you like best about the product?
The product's user interface is very clean, making it straightforward to use. It accomplishes what I need without any unnecessary complications.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't possible to exchange comments back and forth when submitting items.

Flexible and Organized, But Excel Rendering Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is a great place for organization, It is adaptable and flexible to allow different needs to be met. Workiva is also easy to use and learn!
What do you dislike about the product?
The functionality of tickmarking is helpful, but I dislike the way the excel file is rendered for the Workiva space. I wish there was the ability to open the file and see the tickmarks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving our question of where to house control/policy information and reconciliations. This is making the process structured yet smooth as we complete it each month.
Easy to Use, Perfect for SEC Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Workiva is easy to use and mirrors Microsoft Word and Excel, which makes it very easy for new users to pick up on how to use it. It was very easy to set up, as we were assisted by the Workiva support team to get a draft of our financials fully uploaded. I also appreciate how Workiva helps us organize our financial statements and follow the proper control environment around our financial reporting process.

XBRL tagging is a bit overly complex, would like it to be easier to handle in-house more.

Intuitive and Easy to Use, But Bulk Updates Can Be Time-Consuming
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and how intuitive the system is. Needing to use the system frequently, the fact that it is very easy
What do you dislike about the product?
When bulk changes need to be made, such as if there is a significant update to workflows or controls, it is sometimes difficult to update in bulk. Linking of data within the SOX workspace is also time consuming, even though the process itself is seemingly simple.

This tool has been instrumental in keeping us proactive about our financial reporting risks. It consistently helps us stay ahead, ensuring we can address potential issues before they become problems.
Effective GRC Solution with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Workiva significantly enhances our risk management process, making it far more efficient. I also find it highly beneficial for our compliance framework control mapping, which promises to simplify future audit preparations. The automation and data linking features stand out as particularly useful, streamlining our tasks and processes substantially. Overall, while I am still discovering its full potential as a fairly new user, I am quite satisfied with the capabilities offered by Workiva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up Workiva was a bit challenging due to some difficulties encountered during implementation. Although the implementation process was generally good, there were issues with data corruption, which were not completely addressed by the setup itself. Additionally, I underestimated the amount of work required post-implementation, which added unexpected workload. I also find that the policies workspace does not automate tasks for policy approval based on data information, which could improve overall efficiency.

Effortless File Linking, But Shortcuts Differ from Excel
What do you like best about the product?
I like how interconnected I can make my files, and how I can update multiple documents with only one change.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the shortcuts that they have available differ from excel.
