Good tool
What do you like best about the product?
Woekiva is an easy-to-use tool designed for the user. It normally works well and allows multiple users to work at the same time on the same document, which speeds up the reporting process and review.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that user support should be greatly improved and the customer service hours should be extended during reporting periods, because when you have an issue, you are not able to resolve it in time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is that during reporting periods, the tool sometimes presents errors and does not allow generating the ESEF file. The tool generally does not have errors, but when there are, the support is inefficient and the knowledge of the technicians who assist you is not sufficient.

I find workiva very user friendly and it gives freedom to create a report to your liking

Complexity around access management, I understand the flexibility is nice but for large reports it is undoable

The training will be better if we could have more hands on experience with dummy data etc.

That some of the operating is not very convenient like the bulk updates

Great transformation of reporting function
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity to navigate, collaboration with multiple stakeholders, audit trail.
What do you dislike about the product?
Linking and ambiguity of certain functions (sometimes unsure about what Workiva is capable of).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were doing our financial reporting old school using excels and word documents in the past which had a lot of inefficiencies and we didn't have control over content, with Workiva all these problems were eliminated.
A tool to help you in all your reporting needs.
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive use! If you've had a feeling that something should be as easy as just doing it in practice, Workiva tools usually work that way.
What do you dislike about the product?
So many new features to learn all the time. The tools develop so much that you feel like you have to keep track of things often. But, in the end it is a very positive thing as the tools actually improve!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to report efficiently and fast and accurately! Syncing is the best feature to take out extra time spent in reporting.
Efficiency and connected
What do you like best about the product?
Once it is the data models and structures of the documents/reports are set up, the ease of updating information and collaborating with others is very simple. In addition, the unlimited users is a huge plus as you don't need to worry about it (other than keeping the roles & permissions concept up-to-date).
What do you dislike about the product?
The large amount of flexibility and options for customisation is great. However, this is something also not helpful and the number of options can be overwhelming.

Connectivity of the information coming from different sources (and in different formats).
