I need more possibility for financial data analytics. Extended trial balance and financial statements and notes is not enough. We are a company with more than 50 subsidaries. I want to have dynamic analysis and drilldown of data.

The user experience and the easy to use interface is two very good parts of Workiva.

There may be different options of sales - module based, licence based, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I like it is very similar to excel and word functionalities, so it is easy to use

I wish it had more excel functionalities, like creating pivots, grouping and ungrouping data or a built in data analytics option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is taking away the manual work of putting tohgether annual report and future quarterly reports. It probably saves time and reduces errors.
All around integrated reporting tool
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborative tool, data accuracy is ensured as you can connect it to your source system, user friendly, excellent customer experience and support, Audit trail is available to our auditors at any moment in time. We can onboard many stakeholders and granularity of access is very helpful and easy to set up
What do you dislike about the product?
Designing capabilities somewhat limited, it often can be expensive hence it is difficult to be able to get management teams to understand the need for such an expensive tool. Also would like to see more possibilities in adaptive licenses where we can have more funtionalities such as CSRD/ESG reporting within our current reporting license, perhaps thinking of a CSRD lite version to first understand how this could benefit before switching over to a full on license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is simplifying our annual reporting process, where we need to pull together various stakeholders during the process to ensure we get the input in time and well validated/coordinated with our financial teams, sustainability teams and Management teams. The process itself makes it so much more simple than what it used to be using various systems (Excel, word, ERP systems, emails) to pull data and input together into one single source of truth. We have seen significant improvements in the process with our auditors and supervisory board, as they have better insight into what comments have been adopted, where we have adopted the changes requested and we effectively have one source of truth fully along the way of creating the report towards the final day of sign off. We are excited about the future of using different areas within the Workiva platform, in particular with CSRD, as the process itself seems still simple and workable in excel for the moment, however this might be a different ball game in the future if we are reporting over more KPIs and metrics in the future.
