A reliable tool for SEC Filings and SOX Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
We use Workiva for SOX Compliance and SEC Reporting, I’ve found the platform to be a huge time‑saver. It allows our team to collaborate in real time across reports and controls, reducing version control issues and manual updates. For SEC filings, the tagging and review process is straightforward, and for SOX, the workflows help track testing and evidence efficiently. Overall, Workiva has streamlined our reporting process and improved transparency across our compliance work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The GRC module operates entirely independently from the SEC workspace. It would be helpful if there were a way to connect the two, allowing them to share the same source of information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordination and collaboration across different teams
Google Docs on Steroids
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user friend and being able to copy paste is my best friend. It's easy to be able to sync changes across multiple documents as long as we set it up properly to begin with. It truly feels like working with Google Docs, but on steroids.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like sometimes my brain goes faster than how long it takes to switch between a Workiva document and Workiva spreadsheet. Sometimes when I copy a source link and paste it into the Workiva document, it takes a while (more than a second), and when I have numerous things to copy it just ends up messing with my speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is working on new features to have different reporting requirements centralized into one database, which makes it helpful for our organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Allows for team members to work in diff timezones. Easy to review the history of all changes. Easy to use by team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Details on the GRC side. Too premission based. If a user is tagged in a comment, unless they have premission to a request they won't be able to see it.

User friendly for the entire org.

The Workiva sync function is super helpful for efficiency purposes. We can sync right from the external excel spreadsheet into wdesk.
