1Password is a Seamless, Worry-Free Password Manager for my Team

  • April 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I don’t know a single one of my passwords, and I like it that way. Knowing my team’s passwords are securely stored and protected gives me one less thing to worry about. Updating and changing passwords is also no longer a chore we all dread.

I’ve used 1Password for five years now, and I can’t imagine working without it. After testing Last Pass and Dashlane, both felt too daunting to learn and then teach to my team. By contrast, 1Password was a seamless transition: we were able to import our saved browser/phone/tablet passwords, and it was easy for everyone on the team to pick up. Truly a business owner’s best friend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to work within separate Microsoft environments for each individual user can be challenging, especially when a colleague is out of the office and you need to retrieve something from their computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password saves us time every time we log in. Once I unlock the system with my unique master password and secret key, everything works like magic from that point on.

Secure and Convenient Password Management for Teams

  • April 01, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use and how securely it stores all passwords in one place. It helps me quickly find the information I need and simplifies access management for both me and my team. I also appreciate the strong security features and the ability to share credentials safely within the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface can feel a bit overwhelming, especially for new users. There are also occasional small delays with autofill or syncing across devices. Additionally, pricing may be a bit high for smaller teams compared to some alternatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password solves the problem of managing and securing multiple passwords across different services. It reduces the risk of using weak or repeated passwords and makes access management more organized for the team. This helps improve security and saves time in daily work.

Seamless Cross-Platform Password Management with Great Extensions and 24/7 Support

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password’s cross-platform support adds real versatility, and it makes owning and using multiple devices feel seamless. It’s straightforward to install and get up and running, and I genuinely enjoy the browser extensions. The extra features, like Git signing, are also a big draw for me personally.

It encourages healthier password habits in day-to-day digital life, helping you avoid reusing the same passwords and familiar patterns that many of us fall into without a manager. For developers, it has clear benefits as well, with integrations into development platforms that help simplify the daily grind of implementing security.

The 24/7 Customer Support also gives me quiet confidence that if something goes wrong, they’ll have your back right when you need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
A real free base-user tier would have been something I would have appreciated as it would have given 1Password mass appeal, where it now resides in an echelon with other PAY-ONLY offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The sheer amount of digital products and services we all consume and utilise in daily life has become unmanageable without proper management software that caters for all user needs in one easy to use space.

Centralized password sharing has improved secure access and streamlined global team workflows

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

The main use case that we have for 1Password Business is to store our websites and CMS back-end passwords because we have lots of projects and many CMS platforms. 1Password Business has one consolidated vault where our UX and development team can go in and access the passwords for each and every website that we are working on.

What is most valuable?

1Password Business is available for everyone in our team, and we also use the browser extension. Whenever we go to a CMS back end, it automatically fills in the user ID and the password. It works well in Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox, and it automatically fills in the login and form securely. The data is end-to-end encrypted, so you don't have to worry about it. It also gives you a password generation feature, which helps me in using that password generator for sharing files in Dropbox for external teams.

We have vaults in 1Password Business, and we have different vault folders where we have separate buckets where we fill items that we do internally, items that are shared, items that are online tools, items that are specific to a specific client, and some of the shared subscriptions that we use like Marker.io and other platforms that we have. This allows all other things to be specific in a bucket where we can go in and see what we need so that we don't have to go into each and everything to see what we need.

Passwords in 1Password Business don't allow you to create a weak password, and it helps you with secure sharing. It also provides cross-platform support, and you can also set up two-factor authentication.

Because we have teams working externally all over the world where teams are located in India, Armenia, and different areas, 1Password Business helps us by providing a secure link where you can send data in a secure manner when we have to share confidential credentials with them. Once the data has been restricted to certain users, it won't be available to other users. It also has a feature where the link will expire in a certain amount of time, and that's really helpful for the team to transfer the data more securely.

1Password Business also helps you to save and store credit cards, including card number, expiry date, CVV, cardholder's name, and billing address, which is optional. If we have to purchase something that is part of the company, it also helps us to share the company credit card with colleagues who need to make purchases, and it's done in a really secure manner. The secure vault sharing is best for use as a shared vault, and we can add the credit card details to the vault and give specific people access. Only authorized users can see the card, you can control the permissions, and you can revoke the access at any time. Alternatively, you can also give them a temporary secure link by selecting the credit card item, clicking share, and generating a secure link. It's really extremely safe, and that's really good.

1Password Business does positively impact our organization because it helps us to have one consolidated place and one streamlined area of all the passwords that we need to keep accountable for.

What needs improvement?

The important limitation that I find in 1Password Business is that recipients, when you share the data with them, can always manually store that data locally. No system can fully prevent that. We just need to trust the person whom you're sharing the data with. It's not ideal for strangers or unknown parties where we can give them the credit card, which is not ideal.

The limitations of 1Password Business where it allows the users to store their data locally are the only limitation, but it doesn't affect the fact that we are using the platform itself because it's really helpful for the team.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using 1Password Business ever since I joined ThinkShift, for more than four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

1Password Business is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

1Password Business's scalability is good.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support of 1Password Business is really good. I would rate the customer support of 1Password Business a 10.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I didn't use any solution before 1Password Business.

How was the initial setup?

There were no security incidents that happened after implementing 1Password Business, and we have lots of time saving with the password management.

What about the implementation team?

We didn't evaluate any other options before choosing 1Password Business because we were happy with it.

What was our ROI?

1Password Business is a really great tool. If you need an ROI in time efficiency, please use 1Password Business.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Everything related to pricing, setup cost, and licensing is good. The pricing is reasonable.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We didn't evaluate any other options before choosing 1Password Business because we were happy with it.

What other advice do I have?

There is nothing that frustrates me about 1Password Business. Everything is really good with it. I really love enjoying using it. 1Password Business does save our team time because without it, I don't know how the team would have stored and saved that data. If writing them in the notes or any Word document and sharing that, it wouldn't be a good viable practice and would be a data breach. Everyone in the company uses the strong password guidelines. This has really helped them with time spent on resetting passwords for logging in or tracking the password, where did they store the data and everything. It has increased the company's efficiency. My overall rating for 1Password Business is 8.
