One-Place Password Management with 1Password

  • May 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password makes it easy to share passwords with the whole team. It's convenient that you can avoid sending passwords — one person just has to add them and share them with the whole team in a few clicks. For personal use, it's great to have one place to manage all passwords, rather than having to create them myself and think about including all those special characters, numbers, etc. 1Password makes it so easy. I really like the fact that it has a Chrome extension, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm having an annoying problem using 1Password when the tool uses Captcha or something similar. It's almost impossible to fill in the password and confirm that you are not a robot in one second. Every time I log in to WordPress, for example, I have to remember to start with the robot prevention and then quickly use 1Password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password helps me manage lots of different passwords, create strong ones and share them with my team. Thanks to that, I don't have to worry about storing my passwords securely.

Exceptional Password Manager with Minor Drawbacks

  • May 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the autofill experience in 1Password; it's more than a minor convenience, as it saves time and reduces friction for complex login workflows. I also love the Watchtower security monitoring feature—it helps with monitoring for breaches, auditing reused passwords, and sending alerts about two-factor authentication and expired documents. The seamless cross-device sync is fantastic, as I use 1Password across my MacBook, iPhone, iPad, and Windows work laptop without any issues. The clean, intuitive interface and the password generator are great too. I value the company's trustworthiness and strong security reputation. It's truly convenient for making secure notes and sharing team credentials.
What do you dislike about the product?
So firstly pricing is no longer competitive this is my biggest frustration. Then the browser extension occasionally hiccups. So sometimes it works perfectly but sometimes there are some issues. Then there is no free tier. OK then also there's no desktop app that can feel heavier sometimes. Then iOS autofill reliability, so occasionally sometimes it fails to trigger in some apps or Face ID along occasionally requires multiple attempts before successfully filling credentials. Then migration and import experience of the different credentials is kind of hard. Apart from that customer service response is also kind of late if I'm not using the paid subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password helps me manage and auto-fill unique passwords, store API and SSH keys, and use two-factor authentication. It eliminates password overload with secure storage across devices, reduces login friction, monitors reuse and security breaches, and provides alerts in one platform.

  • May 01, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of 1Password and its browser extension integration. The browser extension is particularly handy because it allows me to quickly have 1Password enter credentials on websites without needing to copy and paste them. The initial setup of 1Password was very easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop application can sometimes be buggy. Sometimes it crashes and hangs, and it has to be force closed using Task Manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use 1Password for password storage and management. It helps with security and password policy compliance. The browser extension saves time by automatically entering credentials without needing to copy and paste.

1Password Delivers Peace of Mind with Strong Passwords and Seamless Syncing

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the most helpful features is its ability to generate and autofill strong, unique passwords across websites and apps, which significantly improves online security without requiring extra effort. The cross-platform syncing ensures that data is always available on mobile, desktop, or browser extensions. Additional features like secure sharing (for teams or family), Watchtower alerts for breached or weak passwords, and Travel Mode add extra layers of convenience and protection.
Overall, the biggest upside of using 1Password is peace of mind—you don’t have to remember multiple complex passwords, and your digital life stays much more secure and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is that it’s a fully paid service—there’s no permanent free tier like some competitors offer. While the features are strong, the subscription cost can feel unnecessary for users who only need basic password storage.
Another issue is the learning curve for new users. The concept of a master password plus a Secret Key can be confusing at first, and if either is lost, account recovery becomes difficult since the system is designed with strict security and minimal recovery options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From a business perspective, it solves the challenge of securely sharing sensitive information like login credentials, API keys, and financial details among team members. Instead of sending passwords over email or chat (which is risky), teams can share access safely within controlled vaults, with permissions and access tracking.
It also helps tackle employee onboarding and offboarding issues. When someone joins or leaves, access can be granted or revoked instantly without needing to manually change dozens of passwords, which improves both security and operational efficiency.

Intuitive, Reliable Account and License Tracking at a Reasonable Cost

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
A good way to generate and track details about accounts, logins, and license keys. I have been using it for over a dozen years. The cost is reasonable compared to others and the features it provides. The interface is intuitive, and if I have issues, help is available. I have never had performance issues with the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it attempts to save login information without the username. It should prompt for this field or the password field if they are empty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password makes it easy to integrate with my web browsers and fill in login credentials without typing them. It allows me to maintain a separate password for every account without trouble. The password generation feature seems smart and provides passwords as designed.

1password Is a Nice Product Overall

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Long-time user here. It has everything I expect from a password manager, along with some genuinely useful power-user features like Watchtower and SSH keys. I’m excited to see the platform continue building out “quality of life” improvements, and I think integrations with Fastmail and Privacy would be a huge win. The AI offers strong password recommendations, and the easy-to-use UI improves the overall experience a lot. AI password generation and password retrieval both feel very fast. I’d also like to see fingerprint scanning included as part of the premium features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s no real way to reach customer support. When the system refused to recognize my password, I tried to get help, but the only option was a chatbot. It kept asking for my email and repeatedly creating new support case numbers instead of connecting me with someone who could actually resolve the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me save my passwords and reminds me when they’re about to expire. It also generates strong password strings and offers them as suggestions.

Simple, Seamless Password Saving and Autofill Across Multiple Devices

  • April 28, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using 1Password for a while now, mostly because I wanted to stop reusing the same passwords everywhere. The biggest win for me is how simple it is to save logins and then autofill them across both my laptop and my phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few times where autofill didn’t work smoothly on certain websites, so I had to copy-paste manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It generates robust passwords and it saves a lot time and efforts to remember passwords.
