Wonderful password manager for teams
What do you like best about the product?
I was already a user of 1password before but, since they launched 1password for teams, I'm now their biggest fan. They add simplicity of use to great design to access on all platforms. It's almost perfect!
What do you dislike about the product?
The login key you have to use and the fact that you have to use one specific url even if you use it for a lot of companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password hell is solved with all colaborators accessing one database of logins.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be tidy from the beginning.
Easily one of the best software out there. Highly recommended.
What do you like best about the product?
I've tried to use other password management software but 1Password simply blows the others out of the water. If you are a Mac and iPhone user, and you care about security, 1Password is definitely a must have. It just works. Easy to use and pleasing to the eye.
What do you dislike about the product?
I originally purchased 1Password 3 and not long after had to buy an upgrade for 1Password 4. While I don't mind upgrading, the time difference of owning the older version was not great. They eventually fixed this with 1Password 6. But now they finally offer 1Password Families but its subscription base only. I would have preferred a flat rate and an upgrade fee for existing 1Password users instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that 1Password doesn't just store passwords and make logins easier, but that it securely stores other pertinent info that I find useful. I also love the ability to be able to create multiple vaults and the new family feature (minus the business model). It helps me keep track of hundreds to thousands of insanely secure passwords and is always kept in sync. It works so well, its a crazy product not to have if you're security conscious like I am.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're on a Mac and an iPhone (what I use), no brainer. Although I've never used it on Windows and Android, I'd imagine the experience is much the same.
I don't use the term 'life changing' very often when I refer to software... but
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is the autofill in Chrome for passwords. So Simple, 99% successful (sometimes Chrome errors) and it just logs me in with only a click. I only have to remember one password and I have access to everything. It's holding up to 150 of my unique passwords, and I've never felt more secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I have to buy licenses for iPhone and Mac separately. I'd like to have just one license that gave me access to my account from anywhere. There have been errors with the iCloud sync so I'm using Dropbox instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security and remember passwords. I don't know any of my accounts passwords. They are random and very confusing and difficult to guess. I remember my one main password and it's all I need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They regularly update the product. It's always improving!
Keep all your details on your computer protected by encrypted passwords.
What do you like best about the product?
This program helps you to secure passwords to multiple websites. But that is not all that it does! The best part is that it keeps track of any data you enter into the computer. Including bank account information and credit cards. All this information is kept secure and at your fingertips!
What do you dislike about the product?
This program is pretty complex. It can do a lot of different things and therefore it does take a while to figure out how to navigate everything and the extra feature it has.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This program is so all-encompassing that it is great for businesses. With the magnitude of information that most companies process, the ability to have this information at your fingertips is a great advantage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this product to anyone that needs to store information that is used often. The use of the features in this tool make your job so much easier. The price is so low that this is worth the risk of it taking time to implement. Once you get the hang of it you will keep finding new ways to use the program.
Easy and Secure Password Management
What do you like best about the product?
No one likes dealing with remembering passwords and users names for multiple different sites. The GUI of the app is simple and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works as it's supposed to. Really can't complain about much. It's affordable and worthwhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves a ton of time not having to remember or waste time resetting passwords. The amount of time saved and hassle makes it worthwhile.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before implementing 1Password, make sure you're aware of all the apps and passwords you need.
Great way to be secure online
What do you like best about the product?
I think the best part is having really strong, secure, and unique passwords for every website and not really worrying about remembering your passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst part is lack of full integration. The greatest improvement would be to send passwords from your phone to any "guest" computer you might be using that is not your personal computer - if there was a fast and secure way to do this, then there would be no disadvantages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have become much more secure online, and that is the single greatest benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be daunted by the learning curve - you do have to switch all your old passwords to this one and this might take awhile. The benefits though are worth it!
I primarily use the free app version of 1Password to manage a variety of personal and work PW's
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how easy it is for me to store and reference my passwords from my phone. Additionally, it's very simple to store passwords directly from an app or webpage with little interruption to my workflow. Having the one master password makes everything feel secure, but easily accessible. Having a section for favorites is also a great feature. Although I have not yet used the create a password feature I do plan on using it in the future. I
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest there's not much I dislike. The app was recommended to me by one of our IT guys a little over a a year ago and I've been using it ever since. I do wish that the custom organization was available in the Free version of the app, but I understand why it's not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do a lot of work in a variety of sandboxes that are all similar enough that with the passwords are constantly being changed it can get very confusing. This app allows me to keep a handle on all of my logins and not waste as much time resetting passwords over and over again.

What do you dislike about the product?
Issues with 1password browser extension on Chrome happened some times. It needs to find out how 1password browser extensions and 1password mini (helper in tray) works together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm storing my passwords, logins, cards in this app. I'm using it on all my devices, generating passwords and i will never forget any password I created.

1Password Review
What do you like best about the product?
1Password offers a good solution in allowing you to memorize just 1 master password that then allows you access to all of your secure sites. One thing that I've liked was the ability to have the service warn me about websites that are vulnerable to various security bugs that are known to wreak havoc on identity and security. That being said, there are some things that are missing from 1Password that competitors offer. One thing which I refer to as double verification is absent from 1Password.
Competitor products allow for a multi-level authentication where a temporary code is sent to me via email or text message that I must enter into the application before 1Password allows access. This reduces the chances that hackers and the like are able to exploit security lapses. I've only used the iOS version of the software, but I know it supports others.

What do you dislike about the product?
The reason that I only used it for a short period of time was because of the monthly cost. I think the cost associated with the software is too high, and other options are available for free or a lower cost. But to each their own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have only used 1Password for about a month. I'll explain shortly why my time with the software was minimal. The software does what you'd imagine; log into secure sites with just a click using your login credentials that you've stored. What the software does is allows the user to generate a password in which you control how strong it is. It's very difficult to remember so many passwords for the many many sites in which require login credentials.
An essential tool to store sensitive informations
What do you like best about the product?
The syncronization among all the devices is a killer feature that enables seamless sharing across all the devices that one might use.
What do you dislike about the product?
the fact that there's no sync between two computers without using an external cloud provider may be less than ideal for some user (i definitely prefer to use the no-server setup where one computer acts as the sync master on a local network)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
having my passwords and user data all in one place, protected by a single very long secret
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have more than one computer you'll have to use an external cloud service to sync the data.
