I've seen the light
What do you like best about the product?
The authenticator feature, that is was tipped the scales for me, also WatchTower which lets you know if you have duplicated passwords or compromised passwords, it's really useful. There's also a way to share securely things with your family.
They also have extensions for every major browser available, I personally don't like Google Chrome, so it was a relief to see they had FireFox as an option.
If your company provides a license of 1Passwords, it lets you create a free family plan, and I do recommend that you take that oportunity to migrate to it. I used to use iOS keychain for everything, but that ends up being a mess in the long run, sometimes websites have mobile counterparts, with different urls, and with 1Password it's far easier to keep your thing tidy and organized no matter how many passwords you store

What do you dislike about the product?
My family plan account keeps getting locked
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single place where to store password and authenticator codes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're already using another password manager, you can migrate organically your passwords, or just take one afternoon one saturday, and fully migrate your passwords. I'd recommend that you doit this way, since you'll be able to have a overview of the security of your passwords by using WatchTower, and you'll be able to go and change all the ones that are duplicated or compromised, and you can add two factor authenticator using 1Password, it evens copy the code when you need to fill it in
Never remembering a bunch of passwords and feeling safe
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I do not need to remember a bunch of passwords. I can have them all in the same place by just remembering one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found I feature that I dislike so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not using the same password for everything, and I am keeping safe my information in one place.
Switched from other PW manager and never looked back!
What do you like best about the product?
1Password's functionality extends to include 2FA as well as a personal WatchTower feature that allows me to discover if any sites I have an account on have been compromised in the past. If so, it prompts me to change my password for added security.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. After extending the duration between automatic locks, and after learning the 1PW hotkey to pull up the app and browser extensions, this app has everything I need. And intuitive too!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving security issue of end-users savings passwords across unsecure mediums.
Benefits: awesome to have everything in one place. Did not get this when using LastPass
Benefits: awesome to have everything in one place. Did not get this when using LastPass
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Export/Import feature works with all major password managers
I never thought I needed a password app but I do
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with browsers and with the Apple environment makes it the best app of its kind
What do you dislike about the product?
I am delighted with this App that would not have any solid negative points. One detail is the export of the vaults that only allows one to be made one by one, and having many this becomes a waste of time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As time goes by, you accumulate subscriptions to different services, and using a password for everything is 100% insecure. 1password solved this problem for my company and me in a simple way. I previously tried other solutions of this type, but 1password has been the best
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can afford to pay for the subscription of 1 password, it will be the best you will find in this type of apps, there are other options with free versions that can meet the objective of keeping your passwords safe, but 1password makes it very easy and saves time and money. these days time is crucial
We only recommend 1Password to our clients
What do you like best about the product?
When I'm recommending 1Password to folks I tell them they will stop having to wory about passwords. This app working with its extensions lets me manage my passwords, rather tha letting my passwords manage me.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit overwhelming to folks who haven't setup 1password before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SPEED. I never have to think about remembering a password. I can stay secure, have a different password for everything AND I'm instantly in when I need to get in.
Good tool, safe, simple and fast
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple, cheap and safe. Didn't take me hours to undestand how it works and vaults are a good way to classify credentials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing particular. I didn't have specific technical difficulties when using this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You don't need to remember your passwords. It's better to use tools like 1password if you want to avoid having the same credentials everywhere.
The best password manager I've ever used! And I've tried them all...
What do you like best about the product?
It's really well designed, the UX is great
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels like the browser integreation is always breaking
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing a single password across multiple services is bad joo joo
The best password management tool out there, with an excellent after sales experience.
What do you like best about the product?
1Password has the best security in the password management tool market and is the easiest to use. They have been around for a long time (14 years) and never been hacked. Most competitors cannot boast the same achievement. Also, the after-sales team (Stephanie Cheng in particular) has been absolutely amazing in getting our team up to speed on using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I honestly dislike is the referral programme which only provides incentives for referrals of 15 users or more. My company mainly has a lot of small clients, so we will never reap any benefit from recommending them. But, it is the best tool out there so we wouldn't ever recommend anything else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing passwords between our team members (particularly post covid) in a secure and simple fashion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it. Don't lose your master key!
Perfect! A great bit of software that really does take the hassle out of password management.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and ease of management are fantastic. The browser extensions are great but the addition of the standalone app is a must and extremely handy when it comes to organising and re-organising passwords and Vaults. The fact that each user also has a private vault is superb and a great addition to an already awesome bit of software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike, it's a great bit of software that's addressed several issues for our company professionally, and has also helped personally when generating passwords.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The internal sharing of passwords between teams and co-workers has previously always been problematic. The ability to have password grouping and access segregation has really helped our workflow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
After trying several others, 1Password really does put others to shame. Definitely make use of the onboarding as it really is useful (Stephanie is awesome) and it highlighted a few features and ways of working that weren't obvious. Try it first.....you'll love it. Try it last.....and you'll wish you'd tried it first. Tech should make your life easier, and this does.....Just try it.
Makes good password hygiene easy
What do you like best about the product?
1password integrates well with both Windows and Mac operating systems and has extensions/integrations for most browsers. As a result, once you have 1password set up and know how to use it, it's really easy to practice good password hygiene (using strong passwords, rotating passwords, enabling app-based 2FA everywhere it's supported). As the manager of IT at our company, that gives me the ability to easily train our team on proper password hygiene and then expect them to follow-through with best practices because once you master 1password, best practices are easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be complex to wrap your head around logins, vaults, groups, users, etc. It's not 100% intuitive and if you are managing 1password for an organization of non-trivial size it's pretty easy to wind up with massive vault/login-sprawl, so understanding and managing 1password usage across the organization is not easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using 1password makes it easy to follow password best practices and that allows us to train employees on proper password practices and then expect them to follow-through and enforce consequences if they fail to follow through. In short, 1password gives us the tools to be opinionated and demanding about proper password security without imposing a significant burden on anyone.
