It is saas based, easy to use and invisible to user but very powerful

More technology is getting integrated into large platform based Security. So having a standlalone technology is the challenge

What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint Email Security has a lot of different modules which work together well. Getting it setup takes a little bit of work, but once it's set, it's easy to maintain. Support is always happy to answer any questions or help configure settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes it is not obvious how to safelist or blacklist an email flagged with special circumstances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps prevent our organization from being bombarded with spam, phishing, and malicious emails.

I like their Email filtering system, TAB and trap can quarantine spam email and pugre spam email.

Proofpoint is often viewed as expensive, with some organizations questioning its value compared to alternatives. Initial setup and integration in complex environments can be difficult, sometimes requiring external consultants.

What do you like best about the product?
The constant improvement to the ever evolving threats that are out there. Things are constantly changing and Proofpoint is keeping pace with the bad actors.

The outages are continue to happen, it puts on a bad possition when we're unable to administer our systems

Securing 3rd party applications. We have a lot of vendors that send emails as us and with SER, we've been able to take back control of securing our emails.

Proofpoint is a leader in 3rd party external email protection and it shows! Incredibly feature packed security you can trust! Support is good! We use it 24/7

Proofpoint is a big and complicated system. It's relatively tough to configure and admin at times. Support is useful as needed at least!

Proofpoint does all of our external email security. DKIM, anti-spam, blocks malware

We have the full suite of Proofpoint products and so far it is performing beyond expectations.

It needs initial tuning which took us a while. But now it's doing great.
