Easy to administer Advanced Email Protection
What do you like best about the product?
Set up was extremely easy and we were walked through it step by step with Proofpoint experts. Some of our other IT providers have simply said 'here you go' and we have had to figure it out. Proofpoint walked us through it and continues to walk us through any questions or modifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple different portals and sometimes it can be confusing. I think for the most part we only use one and will likely forget the others or lose access to those accounts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we are solving is removing the Business Email Compromise issues we encounter. We had been seeing a lot of emails pretending to be our CEO asking for gift cards and more importantly one of our HR vendors asking for some documentation

What do you like best about the product?
The implementation team is excellent. The product is intuitive and has everything you need in an email security and protection system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't find anything that I dislike. There are multiple portals to jump through but they are already working on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email security
Extremely flexible
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint provides a high level of customization for email security. Transparently protects our users with minimal impact on email performance, as well as provides us with a lot of information to check email flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Menus can be challenging to navigate to find the proper settings. There is a minor but noticeable delay in receiving emails with attachments due to attachment scanning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proofpoint gives us another set of virtual eyes on all incoming emails, ensuring our users are protected from phishing and malicious emails. It also ensures our users are not sending out anything malicious as well.

It works well with other Proofpoint products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as fast as I would like the searches to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is protecting out users from them self. And keeping the emails safe.

Easy to use. Breath of services. Great customer service.

There are a lot of settings and options, so there is a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped stop spam and bulk emails. It has cut down on the number of phishing emails. It has helped prevent most email address spoofing.

Was one of the best implementations I have ever done in my 20+ years in I.T.

Nothing so far. Why do I need to put something in here that I don't like.

Fraud Email, Spam Email, stop the bad clicks.
Very effective, but complex.
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint is very effective in reducing the amount of spam and bulk mail delivered to the end user.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be challenging to find and release emails sent through a bulk service when the end user actually wants the email delivered. Safelisting can be very tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proofpoint is effectively reducing the amount of unwanted email tremendously. It also allows the end user to release most emails that are erroneously caught by means of the daily digest.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboards are very easy to manage. Also getting alerts are great and respond from spam filter gurus are always quick response.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing I can complain about the product.

We like to use the Email protection search alot we find that sending a email to the proofpoint team we get good explanation about why an email came through
Provides tools that help protect our end users.
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint provides industry leading tools that help protect our end users. This is through both email security and cybersecurity education. Proofpoint delivers one platform to manage and protect our end users and gives IT the necessary tools to combat email threats.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't easy to pull executive-level summaries and reports. Creating cyber security campaigns can be a bit challenging at times as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Protecting our email at the primiater. Proofpoint also gives us tools to send Phishing simulations to our end users which provides guidance on what to look out for in all cyber security threats.

What do you like best about the product?
Secures our environment and user base. Helps keep the bad actors from reaching our user's mailboxes using its sophisticated email protection system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smart search can be a little clunky and takes some getting used to. There is a learning curve to understanding the filters and how to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Properly pulls bad emails before it reaches our user base. In today's age, this is critical to protecting your company and securing your IT environment.
