Proofpoint Email Security and Protection
What do you like best about the product?
I attended Proofpoint's Protect 2024 and was offered to take the Proofpoint Email Lab to learn and prepare for their certification exam, which I am able to take as part of my attendance!
What do you dislike about the product?
I had a hard time navigating the tool however, there was someone there who was able to assist with the questions I had.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for users to see which emails they would like to release and the ones that they would want to block.
Eliminating malicious emails
What do you like best about the product?
Proof points email security has allows us greater visibility into malicious emails and the TAP protection helps us notify users of malicious intent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The old console UI was slow but that has been resolved in the new version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the risks of targeted email attacks.
Proofpoint Email Protection is great!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and thorough reporting that Proofpoint provides. It's an industry standard for a reason

There are times where it can be a little unclear on where you need to go to accomplish a task
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phishing attempts. Proofpoint is benefiting us by filtering out malicious emails and providing users a quarantine

Proofpoint email security is robust due to advanced threat detection, phishing protection, data loss prevention, user training, and detailed reporting capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity of the tool is overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proofpoint can be costly, complex to configure, occasionally overblocks emails, and may impact email delivery speed.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard and ease of use when searching for emails and releasing quarantined emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
End-users not being able to to add to their blocked senders list if a wild card exsist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blocking emails and quarantining

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to make changes on the fly in one singular portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit slow but I'm sure that is expected with a larger org.

Blocking unwanted emails and protecting users.

What do you like best about the product?
Consistently blocks malicious emails, whether BEC, phishing, harvesting etc. Support is also very quick to respond to reported false positives or negatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
While not specific to the product itself, there has been outages lately with secure email, and TRAP protections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By blocking malicious attacks, preventing clicks, and automatically pulling emails from user mailboxes enables us to focus on more niche use cases and take the load off from data paralysis.

What do you like best about the product?
With the new innovations and AI integration email analysis can no be more streamedline and automated
What do you dislike about the product?
While product works great most times , it goes have its misses here and there as a customer we have had some very malicious emails permitted and even with url isolation users were phished successful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's reducing our account compromises, this is important because threats are being stopped

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of bad emails it has protected our users from is incredible
What do you dislike about the product?
I at first did not like the UI of the module, but they have recently updated it and it is way better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were constantly getting hit with phishing attacks but now our users no longer get these emails delivered!
