Asana Is Great - Very Powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very customizable. I like the Asana widget for gmail and I also like how pdfs can be emailed to the account and turned into tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a steep learning curve and there aren't any best practices to set it u p a certain way. Almost like you need a subject matter expert to help you initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us keep track of our deadlines
Powerful, yet simple to use
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a very organized person, but have a lot of projects and programs to juggle at once. I like that Asana is flexible enough to assist my organization and workflows, rather than forcing me to adapt to a totally structured setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a coworker assigns me a task, it can sometimes be difficult to identify which project it rolls up to and all other associated tasks (beside the one assigned to me).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps most with collaboration on shared projects within our marketing team.

What do you like best about the product?
the simplicity to add and update projects, the multiple features within in. Easy to get others integrated when onboarding a new project. We use this daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many downsides to the UI overall. Nothing I can really pick on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me tie all departments and stakeholders together in one, quick and easy place we can all track progress.
Pretty robust project management,not as intuitive as other project management products.

Interface is pretty clean. Lots of options to change your view and make it custom.

Not as intuitive as other project management products. Tasks can't be set up so that the start of one task is dependent on completion of another task.

Powerful Tool But...
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a robust and powerful tool. There are many many options and opportunities for customized workflow scenarios.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is so large that you must give yourself plenty of time to learn the system and then try to teach everyone on your team how to use it. It is not really intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As of now we are trying to get started but it seems as though we are only hitting the tip of the iceberg. I can see how there will be many many benefits, but it is going to take som serious digging.
Integrated platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like the tasks, subtasks, tagging and reminders of deadlines makes it easier to keep track of big projects with multiple stakeholders. It easliy integrated to our IT approved systems such as Teams. Customer support is always available and super friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar would be great if it had quarterly view

Two different functions collaborating on similar projects. Avoids duplication of work and overlap.
Easy and Fun Tool for Project Management, Specially For Design Teams.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of working with Asana. I’ve used many other project management tools over the years, but none of them have such a clean and intuitive UI. If you're new to the tool, it's incredibly easy to get started. I truly feel that Asana is designed for any team, but especially for creative ones, where UI and visual experience really matter.
I use Asana every day, even for my personal tasks, and I genuinely believe it's the best tool on the market. Having worked in different companies and with various teams, I’ve found it incredibly easy to implement changes and adapt the tool to everyone's needs.
I’ve never encountered a major issue with Asana, but I have used the customer support page and forum, both of which have been extremely helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I find it difficult to understand the hierarchy of tasks and subtasks. I've worked a lot with automations and custom fields, and at times, it’s challenging to determine the best way to manage them. I also find it confusing when information from a parent task doesn’t always carry over to related subtasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped me improve resource management, gain a better understanding of my team's availability, and track project progress effectively. This allows me to provide clear updates to clients and stay ahead of any potential issues, such as timeline delays or task overlaps.

The mobile app is great to use and very user friendly

The inability to not mark task off as completed in one go.

it helps me stay aligned with company goals and also helps me remember important tasks before the end of each day. i like how you can access it from your mobile phone too.
Asana is simple yet very real
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is really simple which makes it obviously a starter. Asana gives a very clear image of your product map.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI is really weak, especially when it comes to organizing my tasks. It doesn't understand or organize especially subtasks or tasks in a way that I like. It should be doing that.

Organizing my tasks, redefining workflow. Succesfully showcasing the roadmap of my product & my business.
Review of Asana
What do you like best about the product?
The flying unicorn once a task is marked complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
difficult to set up multiple layers of approvals in workflows--I had to get our IT to support three layers of approvals and they had to write a 20 step process for this to be done. I don't like the format of the task list. I do not use this program for project management at all, more of as a task list and I don't like the format of the task list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's "kind of" helping with our onboarding, but it doesn't do anything automatically--more just issues a task for someone to manually complete.
