Great Communication and Management Tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love the checklist/task feature. It feels so good to write down all the tasks I need to complete, including the deadline and dependent tasks, then check it off.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like how there aren’t automated categories for type of projects. Our team has a lot of different types of projects (billable, marketing, admin, etc) but we can’t add those kinds of qualifiers when creating a project to auto organize them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that our team can see everything each other is working on so we can stay in the loop on workloads, projects, etc. Before no one really knew what others were working on but now we see it laid out clearly.

What do you like best about the product?
separate projects, personal tasks, deadline management
What do you dislike about the product?
Not to lack feedback, but I don't have any dislikes of Asana. It does what it does very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I often have a hard time keeping track of and enumerating my to-dos for the day, week, etc. Also, I'll occasionally have a task that has an actionable item weeks or months down the road. With Asana, I can put it on my schedule well in advance, and the task will fall in line with my other tasks scheduled well in advance or otherwise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good project and schedule management platform.

What do you like best about the product?
The cross-functional insight into all business projects across different departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take some time to get used to and figure out its true potential. Worth the wait though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team and collaborative projects across multiple different business areas domestically and globally.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the board layout option of Asana. As a person who digests visual information easier than lists, this is a godsend. Great for ideation. You can see everything at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s too easy for tasks to be out of sight, out of mind. Tasks can be so heavily nested that you literally lose them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writing everything for so you can see it laid out all at once.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to organize views by kanban style boards or in lists
What do you dislike about the product?
The organization of tags is a bit tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to assign tasks to other team members and stay updated on velocity is the best aspect.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Feels lighter weight than Jira or some other similar products. Works well for teams with a lot of individual initiatives even within design or poduct for example. r

What do you like best about the product?
I think it's easy to get lost in Asana. Especially since I've used Trello in the past. too many functions for no reason.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many clicks to get to the desired destination and too many threads to keep up with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a way for my team to keep track of assignments but I don't think that it's simple to use.

Lots of email updates for tasks sometimes trains people to ignore them

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to lay out my tasks as well as add subheadings, due date, as well as link and documents. You can also see others tasks or share responsibility on a task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the layout could be more cohesive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laying out tasks by priority, date, and type of task is beneficial for proper work flow.

Easy to use and communicate with employees

What do you like best about the product?
It's relatively easy to figure out, I like the aspect of getting to check off tasks as they're done or assign them to other people. I also think it's helpful to have the comment section on the tasks, so you can add details to other employees or update them in where you are on that particular task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way that you can share files is a bit disorganized and could use some improvements. It would be helpful to have more of a cloud based system for sharing files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it at my work as a way to track all of our tasks to do as well as share ongoing documents with others for edits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's helpful for keeping track of different tasks to do as well as communicating with other employees, and sending ongoing documents.
