Organizing My Work Life w/ Asana
What do you like best about the product?
Very customizable and helpful templates, and easy to collaborate with and assign tasks to other colleagues. I also enjoy how I can view incomplete tasks, all tasks, and completed tasks. The custom fields are a great addition as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sub-tasks and sub-sub-task views are awful. If I want to view sub-tasks, I have to click on them individually.
There are no metrics around efficiency of completed certain tasks.
I cannot view the date / time that I completed tasks in the past.
Completed tasks (if just viewing completed tasks) do not fall under the correct section.
Creating template tasks is painful, and it is not possible to create recurring tasks.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me keep track of and prioritize all of my daily tasks, responsibilities and to-do's. I've found that I rarely forget to accomplish something, because Asana helps me readily and easily keep track of what I need to do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your team does not have a dedicated back office information management system set in place, then Asana is highly recommended. Easy to collaborate, track projects and tasks, and customize to your team's workflows.
Makes Multitasking Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I handle a lot of different tasks at my job and I work with many different departments within my company. Asana helps me visually keep everything organized so I don't let anything fall through the cracks!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to transfer ownership of a team - so when someone leaves the company, sometimes their asana board leaves with them!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to consolidate notes, task lists, calendars, brainstorms, and projects all in one place.
Useful When Fully Adapted
What do you like best about the product?
Asana can be a very helpful tool when keeping track of your day to day and ongoing tasks, but it is only truly game changing if an entire team adapts it and uses it in an interconnected way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main tasks screen is not set up in a helpful way, just showing a long list out of order.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is now much easier to keep things from slipping through the cracks and keep myself and everyone else accountable.
Asana is great for organization
What do you like best about the product?
I love the organization of Asana. Everything is laid out and easy to navigate. The tabs are easy to use. I can go from tab to tab and find what I am looking for easy. I like how easy it is to mark a task complete and how easy it is to add new details to your asana request.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes adding stuff to Asana can be a little confusing. I tired adding a new line to Asana and was a littl confused on how to do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps everyone in the office know when upcoming tasks are due. It is also helpful to know when guests are planned to come into the office and to add what the guests are coming in for. I have noticed that when you use Asana it makes everyone aware of what you are working on and know the things that you need to completeyour project. Also its easy to mark tasks complete to let are bosses know when something is finished and ready for the next step.

I love the ease of this system. Completing and assigning tasks is super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Premium is too expensive. The free version is great, but we would prefer a cheaper price.

Staying on task. Benefits include easily assigning tasks to co-workers.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the visual layout of the app. It makes it intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Inbox portion of the app is a bit confusing. The projects and tasks are listed out, so it makes scrolling through somewhat of a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep team members on task.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is just the perfect work management platform that you could use to stay focused on your project goals with the teams you are collaborating with on it. It's got a great feel about it's attractive and simple interface. It is intuitive and easy to use. With Asana you can always organize and simplify numerous tasks while striving to accomplish your project goals at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation of notifications is a nice feature but for the kind of people who don't like getting numerous emails(notifications) about every move on every task then could easily get irritated by it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped us coordinate each team and meet our project activities deadlines on many occasions especially given the fact that more often than not our teams are decentralized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a project management software for organizing tasks, one that could help you organize everything from project objectives to routine tasks in a singular place so that each of your teams are clear about their priorities and what is required of them to accomplish the set goals then Asana is just your perfect solution.
Great for organizing and getting things done!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great for mapping out short term and long time projects and assigning tasks to members of a team. It is also great to use if you have a personal assistant and/or daily tasks that you need to manage for yourself. There is space to add comments as well as documents that may be needed. I love having everything in one place and being able to map out the flow of a project--most importantly when it is done. I also love that there is an app. The website and app are very functional and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Be mindful of the notification settings. Encourage your team to turn them on and off as needed. For example, I may be mapping out a project and planning out something/assigning task that would cause them to receive a bunch of notifications that may be at odd hours that I may be working--even if it is for the future. This can be annoying if you get e-mail alerts and notifications on your phone so figure out which ones you need the most so you aren't distracted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana, I am able to get a birds-eye view of work that needs to be done and most importantly, see who is responsible for what. This makes project planning and follow up so much easier and more efficient. I am saving time and getting things done correctly and on time!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great product and well worth the money. It will help you keep your projects/tasks organized in an efficient manner and will allow you to easily delegate tasks and stay on top of who is working on what projects/tasks.

asana can be integrated with many other tools and is easy to use.

You still have to go in and update the tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked having one place to check as soon as I came into work each shift and know where my coworkers left off on any projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be a little confusing to navigate from the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was helpful because we have shifts as short as one hour and in order to get anything done, we have to have a way to let people know exactly where we left off so they can pick up where we left off.
