Wiz for fast growing companies with a small security team
What do you like best about the product?
The frequent updates and evolution of the product, Wiz is an easy way to undertand and summerize something that would take us days to understand if we were to use che classic CSV + Power Bi approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
The frequent updates and evolution of the product, there is so many changes all the time that it is hard for small team to follow every single patch or good evolution. I say this even with the very helpful blogpost and support of Wiz, I believe that more training/certification would be needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz is covering almost everything in the cloud security stack, it would be easier to give exemple of what isn't covered than the opposite. Having everything in the same place help us to consolidate usage monitoring and costs, this is also an easier solution than having to link multiples products together through differents pipelines.
Comprehensive Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
Provides full multi-cloud coverage (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes) via agentless scanning for instant vulnerability and misconfiguration detection.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alert fatigue and avoiding overwhelming the teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems solved are exactly the purposes of their products and tools.
WIZ -Is it really one solution for VM, CSPM and Container security?
What do you like best about the product?
1. Ease of deployment. It is quick and easy .
2. Security graph : For building customised queries.
3. Options to do deep analyses and investigation on it's finding.
4. Issues- a feature which presents the top critical threat .It's a result of multiple weaknesses creating one critical issue .
5. Offers one console for VA, CSPM and Contianers.
6. Supports multip-cloud env.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Still not matured when it's come to offering remediation of all CVE ids.There are still many findings with missing solutions.
2. Not matured for Run-time continer security , specaily for private K8s env. Still many issues.
3. Many benchmarks are still in preview state . Not yet matured .
4.Has limited flexibility to reporting features for all Vulnerability, continaers and CSPM .

Best in class tool for Cloud Security Posture & Vulnerability Management
What do you like best about the product?
AI Related Capabilities introduced in Wiz tool - usage of Wiz AI agents to speed up the workflows for enabling proactive threat detection and also enable automatic remediation + perform root cause analysis.
Also, now Wiz offers AI SPM - which helps to detect risks and threats in AI agents & LLMs (Currently we are exploring this option)

What do you dislike about the product?
Refinement or enhancement in auto-remediation capabilities in Wiz - at times we see that the Wiz tool pushes automatic remediation which can lead to Operational impacts due to the changes made and this can be enhanced based on Contextual learning of data specially focussing on our company's environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Wiz for multiple use cases :
1) Cloud Posture Management & Container Security - To review the current status of all the Containers and understand the Compliance of the Cloud resources.
2) Vulnerability Scanning - To run Vulnerability Scans on all VM Instances and to fetch the Vulnerability reports on demand for all the instances. Also we can run scans per CVE as well so if there are any new Zero Days we can directly run the scans for all our resources specific to the Zero Day CVE.
1) Cloud Posture Management & Container Security - To review the current status of all the Containers and understand the Compliance of the Cloud resources.
2) Vulnerability Scanning - To run Vulnerability Scans on all VM Instances and to fetch the Vulnerability reports on demand for all the instances. Also we can run scans per CVE as well so if there are any new Zero Days we can directly run the scans for all our resources specific to the Zero Day CVE.
You can see anything and anything important in one view
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to integrate into our own multicloud environment without any complicated process. After implementing you can see anything important after a few minutes and got a perfect overview on all assets and their combinations into other services
What do you dislike about the product?
What i really miss, is the same integration for on premises environments. Should be more usefull to see maybe toxic combinations between onPrem and cloud-services, so that you really got the holistic view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Got an perfect overview with drill-down to the basic problem. helpfull is also the short discription and a short text about how to solve this problem in this combination. This saves a lot of money and a lot of personal work on our side

What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz is delivering excellently on their commitments; however, I would love to see some addition of automation for patching and fixes, as it would be a welcome enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The standout feature within Wiz is undeniably the Security Graph. This tool offers an intricate visualization of the various elements implicated in any cloud-related risk, complete with the interconnections between them. By swiftly identifying hazardous combinations and critical risks throughout Phantom's cloud environment, Wiz contributes to cost control, resource optimization, and the prioritization of remedial actions. Phantom gauges the automation-driven savings facilitated by Wiz to be on par with the expenses of three full-time team members.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity in understanding the findings and the fact that the findings are concentrated in one place and allow for key decisions to be made that will resolve several incidents at the same time
What do you dislike about the product?
There are findings whose classification does not correspond to reality, positively or negatively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives me a runtime snapshot in addition to my code and infrastructure. Allows me to prioritize what is the right place to correct findings in order to reduce the risk.
One of the most intuitive tools i have ever seen
What do you like best about the product?
There are two thing. First the UI wihich is incredibly intuitive and also the algorithm which helps us to focus on the most critical issues. Wiz makes the process easy and helps to increase security in Cloud and OnPremises infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
OnPremises infrastructure is not that much integrated at the momen. Would be helpful to see the same insights for our own datacenter too. There is a VMWare integration, but it is in an early stage right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz is helping us to get an overview for our whole Cloud Infrastructure in a central place. With its scans and issues we are able to help our software engineers to secure there applications for every Cloud Provider we have enabled for us.
Wiz is a great state of the art tool for your cloud security needs
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz has provided us with a new point of view over our environment. The entirity of the infrastructure is neatly mapped out in an easy to understand diagram. Any vulnerabilities found are shown where the reside inside the environment, and how they could affect the remaining infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz has shown very positive results, and we are excited to keep learning what else it can do. We love how even after becoming partners, we see consistant support and care from their internal/support teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of the issues Wiz is helping solve are related to our security posture. We use the platform to analyze and prioritize issues as they arrise. As a bonus, any new vulnerability (such as Log4j) has a dedicated section, where the system automatically scans your environment so you know right away if you are vulnerable.
Great CSPM Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity. It provides a lot of great information right off the bat along with options to view granualr details. The RBAC is also great to control who can see what info.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike but would like to Wiz to dive more into providing realtime suspicious / malicious threat analysis for cloud VMs, K8s, Containers etc. to detect potential misuse / breaches. Otherwise a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud Posture management (identifying risk configurations and providing remediation) along with various compliance requirements, Vulnerability scanning and visibility into Data Security.
