Much more than ALM
What do you like best about the product?
Already realized productivity improvements through enhanced collaboration, traceability, and reuse of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any tool, the numerous configurable options can be overwhelming when starting your journey with Polarion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The complexity of today's product development is such that you cannot handle requirements with spreadsheets. Even if you theoretically could, there is no point in doing so. No one should have a role where a significant portion of their time and effort goes into manually updating spreadsheet information and especially references to other information.
The true power of Polarion comes when you easily connect requirements, test cases, risks, documents, project planning, cybersecurity, management systems, sales feedback, change management, product architecture, etc., all within the same tool. When everyone uses the same tool, it effectively eliminates the need for the download-change-upload cycle and allows people to truly collaborate.
When you reach the limits of Polarion in MBSE, you can extend your modeling using connectors to tools like Simulink or Capella. PLM integration can be done using OSLC, REST API, or dedicated connectors. We have even created our own connection to ChatGPT.
One of the significant benefits is the productivity improvement you gain when you stop blindly copying information from place to place and instead connect information using links.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Requirements Management & Traceability
Efficient Requirements Management with Polarion REQUIREMENTS
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simple connection with other corporate ALM tools that use requirements data. This makes it simple to expand into Polarion's Test Management solution or other out-of-the-box extensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Polarion REQUIREMENTS, the ordering of requirements is typically based on their position in the hierarchy. However, if you are missing the ordering case structure, you may want to consider manually reordering the requirements in the hierarchy. To do this, you can simply drag and drop requirements within the hierarchy to the desired position, but this process is a bit time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Polarion REQUIREMENTS solves the problem of effective requirements management by providing a comprehensive solution that allows my team to gather, author, approve, and manage requirements effectively.
Flexibility and collaboration with some improvement potentials
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility in defining documentation tailored to our processes and workflows is great, and the collaborative base also with external suppliers with export and import functionality of documentation is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features could be improved, like integration with draw.io is not great not allowing having in Polarion the original and editable diagrams.
When a document is signed with a comment, and later, before document release, the same signature is reset and the comment is removed, a message of missing comment is left.
Reviews tend to be slow and cumbersome for the reviewers to identify the changes to previous release, maybe an easier identification of WorkItems affected to previous release or other functions could be beneficial (history compare is already very good, but link needs to be always provided for the review)

Using Polarion for ALM for continuous releases
What do you like best about the product?
Polarion features to enable integration with continuous releases, testing, build, automation and integration with multiple industry leading tool sets enables quick and rapid deployments
What do you dislike about the product?
Polarion doesn't have the features to source code configration natively and depend on outside tools and this puts dependencies on external tool set. Also the IDE can be more intuitive
