Easy to use features for seamless communication
What do you like best about the product?
I like the advanced features such as sharing audio only and multiple screen sharing. Also it's easy to control settings to manage the chat and access or share recordings and transcripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a few more basic editing options for when you choose to record a seminar or meeting. It only currently has the ability to trim at the beginning or end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hosting virtual events for All Staff and easily including different components to keep the meeting engaging and can easily be managed by one person whether it's sharing screens, sound, polls, or any combination.
Great Virtual Meeting Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to share PowerPoint and use the whiteboard. I also like sharing videos during team meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything! It is a great help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an international organization so this keeps me connected to our staff in the USA and in Honduras. We are definitely more productive using zoom for our weekly meetings.
Zoom is an extremely helpful online meeting program that helps me meet with other people virtually.
What do you like best about the product?
Something that is extremely helpful about zoom is the many customizable features to maximize the experience, such as filters for the camera, and the many different microphone settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something I do not like about zoom are also the customizable features; I would like to see a more user-friendly interface, such as more customizable themes for the homepage and icons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some problems Zoom are solving are the echoing sounds. Echoing sounds used to be a large problem in meetings, as I would be able to hear them from a bad microphone. However, now they are solved.
Sleek Convenience Anytime and Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about zoom is its user-interface. Even if someone isn't tech savvy it's easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
The application bugs that causes lagging or sometimes even though the internet is fine it would say there's no internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps me with my work problems by being able to reach out to clients. It benefits me with its sleekness and access to anytime and anywhere I go.
Pretty standard, no complaints.
What do you like best about the product?
We use Zoom nearly every day to communicate both with clients and internally amongst our team. We love being able to share our screen, annotate any visuals being shared to make sure everyone is on the same page, and record any conversations we want to refer back to in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
The things we seem to dislike about Zoom honestly seem to mostly be on the user error side. One thing that could be improved upon that would make our lives much easier would be if the meeting details were easily accessible when you're in a meeting. Being able to access and send the dial-in number or re-issue the invite without having to navigate out of an active room would be super helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not sure clear on what Zoom is actively working on solving. I do think their past adjustments to allowing the host to control user settings, privacy, and who can share/annotate have been reassuring.
Zoom really is the market leader
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom can do anything that you might want video conferencing to do. Beyond the basics that anyone can do, Zoom can easily share an application with your computer's audio, allow annotations, or even allow someone else to control your computer. Zoom tolerates low bandwidth better than many alternatives, and has the best moderation tools for when you have a big event and need to maintain control (like keeping the audience from unmuting themselves). For basic video with screen sharing, most of the options work very similarly (excepting Webex - their video capabilities are still terrible and connecting is a pain). Where Zoom kills the competition is when you want to have an event with 100s of participants. I've run virtual conferences on Zoom, and I can't imagine running them on anything else.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom should connect audio by default (at least it connects fast, unlike Webex - the best day of my career was the day my day job dropped Webex in 2018). Based on some past incidents that I understand have been corrected, I have concerns about who can access Zoom data from China, but I don't think they would be in their current position if China was doing large scale industrial espionage through Zoom. Zoom is currently our 2nd choice conferencing solution at my day job and since we have rooms designed for our first choice, using Zoom in our conference rooms isn't as nice of an experience, but who expects competitors to play nice with each other?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Zoom for office hours in a 350 student class for a major university's online program. I have used Zoom to produce a counseling conference with hundreds of attendees on three continents that went off flawlessly. Both of these scenarios have been much more of a challenge with different tools. Hosting the conference changed my opinion of Zoom from "why would anyone pick this one?" to "clearly the best tool for this job".
It's really easy to use and has become industry standard
What do you like best about the product?
Pretty easy to utilize this meeting tool across different industries. I love how it integrates into my Google calendar and it has a pretty nifty interface inside of the app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes run into issues with the scheduling through Google Calendar where it will create an event that was scheduled for 1979 but I think that's mostly a user error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think that zoom is something many of my colleagues have become accustomed to over the last few years. I love how easy it is to implement recording and impromptu meetings too.
Best platform for remote work.
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone can use Zoom, even those who do not have an account. There are so many options for a participant to join the conversation. My clients are not the most tech savvy but no one has had a problem using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom is not great for collaborative projects that require multiple inputs. You can share one screen and while there is a whiteboard feature now, it really is not as robust as it could be for a multi-person team working on one thing at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have quality video conference calls from the comforts of anywhere...home office or car has been a life line for me. Having lost staff during the pandemic, having the flexibility of remote meetings with colleagues and clients has allowed me to be productive and profitable.
The only option for video conference
What do you like best about the product?
Love the integrations the most. Many additional features and easy to get into Zoom quickly. Best fullscreen view of all conference software.
What do you dislike about the product?
They cover everything, hard to have a dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily allowing video conferencing software to speak to other systems and really easily set up meetings for sales, strategic partnerships, internal etc.
Still my Favorite
What do you like best about the product?
I like Zoom because it is simple, user-friendly, and familiar. I pay a very minimal monthly fee and have all of the control and features I need. Other video-conferencing software has emerged in the past few years but I don't like them nearly as much as Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is having to wait to call in when I use my phone. I have regular Zoom meetings with a colleague using his Zoom. He has meetings all day long and uses the same Zoom, so I have to wait until he lets me in. When he finally does, then he has to wait for me to call the number and punch in the meeting ID and participant code. It wouldn't be a problem if I didn't prefer to use my phone, but I do because our internet isn't great so I prefer the connection on my cell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has helped me to build relationships with partners and vendors from around the country without actually having to be there in person. It has allowed me to grow from a regional influencer to a global influencer.
