Invaluable Business Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I use Zoom regulary for my business, both to meet with clients and to hold team meetings. I love all the features and how it can be automatically integrated into so many of the software programs I also use for my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of any downsides right now. Oh yes, except that I can't figure out how to have transcripts automatically running and access them after meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to hire a team remotely, and also expands my client base for those clients who cannot come in to see me in person.
Zoom is the best tool for collaborative meetings - and for recording personal video, as well!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is so easy to use and works with internal and external cameras, microphones and presentations much better than some of the others services! Some of them don't handle Powerpoint animations well (or at all) - or can't recognize my external microphone or camera... or don't work well when people attend via cell phones. Zoom does it all exceptionally well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any downside of using Zoom. It's easy to use and understand, very stable and works well. A few issues needed to be worked out when I changed from Windows 10 to 11, but other than that, it's been very easy to use!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a speaker, Zoom has helped me for years to deliver my webinars. However, when COVID-19 decimated my in-person engagements, Zoom was instrumental in helping me deliver all my presentations virtually. And because it was so easy to use, it helped many people in many industries (including my clients) get comfortable using the technology for their own internal meetings, as well as for external training sessions from people like me. And the fact that it opened the whole world up to meetings, if desired, was a bonus.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly, especially for those who aren't used to using technology in an advanced manner. You're able to show your screen and see people easily, chat in questions, and have an overall "almost" in person feel for a meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand that there is a subscription, however, I only meet with more than one person a few times a year. I would prefer to have a "pay as you go" service vs a yearly cost as most of my meetings are with only one person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing people face to face for a meeting instead of over the phone. Most of my business is sales and some things just don't translate over the phone. I am able to pick up on physical queues and adjust my sales pitch as need be.
Great for Team Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Great for connecting with colleagues, especially when working remotely. I also appreciate the regular updates and information about what changes have been made with the monthly newsletter.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes colleagues have difficulty logging in, even though they are typing in passwords correctly. Also, the requirements for being able to use a blurred background are too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of not being able to meet in person due to distance. Also helpful for not having to travel to participate in meetings with other folks. Love that!
Best Video platform for meeting
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy zoom and I have been since 2020 for all my online dance lessons. It's easy to use, shares music well and works perfectly for most of my sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the mirror function worked better especially for dance classes, if the host was mirrored it would be beneficial. While using the app on phone it tends to turn off on its own sometimes, doesn't happen on the laptop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The shared music has made it super easy for dance class owners like myself to communicate effectively with my students and also have music in the background. I have been able to expand my online business because of zoom
Good quality audio and video, confusing UX
What do you like best about the product?
The audio and video quality of the connection is really good. It's easy to meet with a bunch of people and I like the webinar feature set. It works really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the user interface of the product EXTREMELY hard to figure out and use. Same with the way accounts are set up - like what is the difference between a free account and a licensed account? All of this could be much easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a remote team, so Zoom solves a LOT of these remote communication challenges, both internal to my team AND also regarding comms w/ external customers and partners.
A powerful and easy to use tool for online meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is ubiquitous to business these days, So many people are used to using Zoom that it is a breeze to schedule and very easy for those invited to use. It was easy to connect to HubSpot and works seamlessly together. Support has been awesome when I've needed to contact them. We have 20 users under an enterprise license who use it several times a day for webinars, meetings, and Zoom calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have anything to mention that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our business, we no longer travel. This means client meetings, sales presentations, and more can still be done face-to-face without the need for travel.
I am not Zoomed out yet!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to meet with people remotely. It saves on travel expenses.

The downside is that many in my rural community do not have reliable broadband access to use Zoom successfully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves the problem of meeting people over a great distance. It also solves the problem of people who are not ready to meet in public due to Covid.

What do you like best about the product?
We're able to communicate with clients throughout the world. We use it for our podcast sessions and for interviewing potential clients.

We do run into some issues with European clients. Maybe that's just their connection.

We're able to use the service with clients we never would have been able to connect with otherwise.

Zoom's been a game changer for my business
What do you like best about the product?
I love the continued improvements and features always rolling out! Adding emojis and reactions has been a wonderful feature that helps us bridge the in-person and digital world. I love being able to share the audio from my computer giving participants the ability to choose breakout rooms has made hosting complicated events online so much better!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to chat something to ALL breakout rooms at once, rather than just broadcasting a message that disappears quickly and people may miss.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to share complicated info with my teams via screen sharing that otherwise would've required an in-person meeting and so it allows my team to continue to work remotely. Zoom allows for me to easily and affordably connect with clients all over the world which expands my prospecting pool and allows me to serve more people.
