How Zoom made video meetings the new normal after the Pandemic.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been fantastic for doing presentations with share screen options, the ability to have multiple hosts, and the ability to have polls mid-meeting multiple times.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do find the webinar settings in zoom are limiting for participants which I understand is by design - I just participants could always have the option of at least some form of communication with other participants at all times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting spaces - its far easier to get larger numbers to all attend from home vs finding a physical space for everyone to meet in that is convenient for all parties.
Been using Zoom WAY before the pandemic. Solid platform that is always continuing to get better.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of connection, and the security measures they've added. The ability to lock down a meeting with passwords and a gatekeeper is powerful. Plus, I know of many people who use it to record their videos (instead of expensive studio software).
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much bad to say about Zoom...if there is a downside, I'd say there is a bit of a learning curve with the audio and video connections if you have multiple cameras and microphones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They're always tweaking their security measures, and I'm not sure if they're addressing the multiple audio and video connection processes, but it works just great for me!

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Zoom since before quarantine when everyone was scrambling trying to figure out how we make what we do work in a virtual space. Zoom was easy to learn and navigate. I was able to manage my content and communicate with my audience as needed. The tools and support provided helped me facilitate great classes and to conduct great presentations. I'll most likely step up to the pro version for sure.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not so much a dislike but something for me to figure out as to how to connect Zoom to the social media platforms that I consistently use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication with family, peers, and colleagues who do not live in my immediate area. I'm able to share content with people beyond my geographical location and that has been amazing for me as a writer, a student, an educator and a creative.
Zoom is so easy and communication remains unbroken.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the breakout rooms - it is like wandering the halls at work used to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any dislikes... sometimes the only thing that is frustrating is bandwidth but that has nothing to do with zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is educating hundreds of students who aren't yet able to go back into a classroom.
My Zoom Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that I can use a document camera and the pc camera to show stories and story questions. I also like the whiteboard, I like the fact that the student can write on the whiteboard. I also use Zoom to connect to Google docs to help students write essays and also to teach concepts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not really anything that I dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to Covid 19, I had to stop having students come to my office, and also going to students' homes. I can teach using Zoom and I do not have to leave my home and the student can go right back to their activities after the Zoom session is over.

What do you dislike about the product?
I appreciate the convenience of Zoom and how accessible it is to clients. I appreciate the convenience and the ubiquitous comfort people seem to have using the tool. It does not appear to be difficult and the learning curve is not steep. It's user-friendly and I am grateful for the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it easy to connect with people even when meeting in person is not an option. I appreciate the long distance opportunity and the chance for people who are traveling to still connect.
Good for Meetings-If You Have Access
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has become familiar to many during the COVID-19 pandemic. I cut my teeth on Zoom at my school district when we had to teach virtually; and this led to me Zooming church worship services. In both instances Zoom has virtually connected us during a difficult period in history.
What do you dislike about the product?
First, it’s great for us under-60, tech-savvy people, but inaccessible outside of our category. Second, as a music teacher, teaching a song to students virtually is impossible: hearing twenty kids sing back to you at the same time AND echoing 1-3 seconds apart is annoying at best - like hearing twenty responses from inside three caves. Is there not a solution to this yet?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables those who are physically absent from meetings to attend and receive work credits towards certification, as I did yesterday evening.

User-friendly, many features for communicating and sharing.

using the chat is occasionally a little clunky

Makes it wonderfully easy to connect for professional as well as personal reasons

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows its user from different parts of the world to stay connected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the technology capabilities are lacking sometimes but it's still a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since the pandemic started, staying connected with friends, family and professional network has been difficult but Zoom closes the gap and allows for us to stay connected.
Easy, secure. trustworthy

Having a permanent link makes each meeting a breeze.

I really don't dislike anything about zoom. It works very well for me.

My business is in business due to zoom. I meet with people all over the world. Without zoom. I have no easy way to meet with them.
