We love Zoom!
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to facilitate a remote hybrid environment. We look professional with customized backgrounds, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard for me on a small MacBook while we are sharing screen to see the participants, It's just really small to have the gallery view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can meet with partners, team members any time/anywhere! our attendance for meetings for boards and committees are actually better, because people don't have to leave their office or home.
Awesome Platform
What do you like best about the product?
How simple it is to use. I also like how calls don't usually drop and I rarely have issues with it compared to other platforms. Backgrounds also work better on Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. Has been really easy to use. It appears that Zoom is also easiest to use for people who aren't "tech-savy". Out of all the platforms I have used, I preferm Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making meeting simple and effective. We do both administrative meetings and Telehealth. Zoom fits the needs of both and has been super helpful and reliable. Our patients love it.
A Valuable Tool For Online Meetings and Interviews
What do you like best about the product?
The capability to record meetings using separate audio files for each user is incredibly helpful in the editing process of interviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to record both a group video and solo user video in the same way they can record group and solo audio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During Covid the ability to communicate between coworkers and continue creating content via virtual interviews became incredibly important. Zoom allowed for both of these.
4 Years and Going Strong
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Zoom prior to the pandemic and was grateful to have a long 1:1 tryout session with a Zoom rep so that I could get the user experience and be shown all of the features available at the time. While Zoom has grown incredibly since then and I have upgraded my plan, I appreciate the responsive customer support, reliable service, and simply the ability to meet live virtually with my clients. I also rely heavily on the whiteboard feature!
What do you dislike about the product?
From a technical standpoint, Zoom has almost never failed me. It's not great for watch parties thanks to new restrictions on streaming services. It could be more engaging/aesthetic, but I'll take reliability over aesthetics any day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As far as I can tell, Zoom has regular updates to its services and has introduced features I might use in the future, like the webinar. It also made it possible for me to move four states away and keep my online business unchanged!
Above Average but can do so much more.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is the best aspect of Zoom. It makes things so simple and finding most of the functions is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not work well at all for higher-quality equipment. I have a Brio 4k camera with el gato lighting, and a Shure SM7b Microphone XLR set up. The bandwidth constraints severely impact the quality of the equipment. (For example, Streamyards and OBS Ninja do not have bandwidth constraints and so the video and audio quality is much higher. The only reason I have not switched is that both Streamyards and OBS Ninja are browser base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having easy video multiplayer streaming for broadcasting on twitch.
The Industry Standard for a Reason
What do you like best about the product?
As someone that has used and administered all of the competition, Zoom is by far the easiest to use as both a user and administrator. Every feature you need is available and vendors are quick to integrate with Zoom. Even the most novice end user has little to no difficulty navigating the controls for meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the issues I've had with the platform have been fixed as the product has matured over the years. I don't really have any complaints. This is the industry standard for a reason. Zoom is now the "Klennex" and "Scotch Tape" of the video conferencing world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The work from home life has been greatly improved with Zoom. We previously had a competitor's product, but Zoom has made it so our end users have many less issues setting up and joining meetings, both internally and externally. I questioned the decision to spend the money at first, but it was worth while.
Easy to use; clear audio, and great for group meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy making use of the breakout rooms for creating more intimate sub-groups. This helps to create deeper connection and trust among strangers. I haven't seen or used any other platforms that have this useful feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a feature for HOW we see others on screen. For example, in circles or somehow able to make it more inviting. I also wish the audio was better in that if someone were to talk over someone else, we'd still hear them; instead the audio just being completely unclear for both people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is helping to solve the time it takes to commute to physical locations! Now anyone anywhere can join in on a discussion and create connection with others. Zoom has made things more accessible so that fostering connection in community has been possible throughout the pandemic. Ty!!
Zoom is a great video conferencing tool
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has just been the most user-friendly, reliable video conferencing tool I have ever used. It always just works. Users dont need log ins to join calls, but creating users is easy enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Zoom has always worked. If I had to pick one thing, its the 40-minute time limit for non licensed users. We've only had one issue where we had to end a call and restart it, but after that, we just purchased licenses and never had the issue again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have video calls with people constantly, and need a tool that works internally and externally. Zoom does just that. For calls where leadership is presenting in town halls or quarterly meetings, to small one on one conversations with other idividuals, Zoom just works.
Zoom - Best Platform for Streaming Videos During Calls
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing my screen on other apps is clunky, but Zoom has no lagging and the video quality is far better thank GoToMeeting or MS Teams.
Also, I like the feature to touch up my appearance!
Also, I like the feature to touch up my appearance!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how guests have to wait in the waiting room before calls. I like the old way better, where they would just automatically be joined into the call. I realize it's for added security, but there should be an option to ignore security concerns when I know who the attendees are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Talking to clients and showing them progress on work is easier on video calls. Emails take entirely too long to write and go back-and-forth, so a quick Zoom call is always preferred.
Positive results and easy to navigate.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use for all types of experienced IT users. Usually connects the first time I log in which has been different from my other video conferencing experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot. I guess sometimes I have had audio issues, but not sure if that is the Zoom software or me as the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of having a phone call with someone that is out of market, we can hop on and have a face-to-face meeting therefore making it more "human" or personal.
