Does the job, better than most
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create a profile and even if you don't subscribe you can access most features quickly and sample them before signing up for a subscription. Zoom is the main leader in online video conferencing since COVID and before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pros are the same as the cons. Zoom saw this industry coming and created a demand for it. Now you can't host more than 45 minutes for free without a subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is one of the central video conferencing tools that almost everyone knows how to use now, and is friendly to the non-familiar user, so the people you invite don't have to have an account before they can access your event.

Excellent video conferencing tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easy to setup
I like that it is affordable

I don't like that it requires a really strong internet connnection to work efficiently

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has helped me to easily have meetings with my clients wether they are on or off site. It has also helped reduce unnecessary movements during working hours as we can now easily chat on the platform
By far the best telecommunications channel
What do you like best about the product?
It has almost everything you'd need for a video conferencing platform. What I like best is the simplicity of the interface, it has many options for screen sharing including sharing a single window or sharing the screen generally and it's really easy to invite members and admit them with multiple options. Also the security for online events and for doweling recordings as it requires a pass key for each recording download.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe one of the downsides is the attendee limit which is 100 for all plans and to increase it you'll need a special addon. Also for the free version it has many restrictions mostly a 40 min time limit then the meeting shuts down. I also find that Zoom kind of takes more bandwidth than its counterparts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is making life easier for remote working teams, for online education and much more. For me I literally used it for every company that I worked for. I'd use it for meeting with team, my supervisors and board meetings. I also currently extensively use it for online educational sessions for my internship as well as for attending various online events. It's a life saver.
Best meeting tool
What do you like best about the product?
It has best feature for camera like filter and themes for background. It is the best monitoring and meeting application it is widely used in organization for interviewing new comers in the company.Various features like hand raise and chat option while in a meeting is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not think of any reason to not use this application but somethings like mic shortkut keys should be changed as sometime the mic can be opened with shortkeys without knowing of the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't face any hard issue while using zoom just the feature that when you enter in meeting and you have to manually connect to audio is very disturbing for me.I was so confused when i first used this application.
Convenient video chatting for collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
On Zoom, I love all the different features that are available to edit your screen appearance. This makes working from anywhere easy and hassle-free. It is also very easy to quickly go on and off the camera and mute features!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are little to no downsides with zoom, but one thing that would be helpful is when there are connection issues, a troubleshooting page with relevant info to help resolve the issue would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is acting as a reliable and convenient tool to work remotely from my house. Without zoom, I would not be able to easily access my coworkers to collaborate and catch up daily!
Zoom - always works
What do you like best about the product?
It works seamlessly on every browser and device. No installation needed so customers can easily join even if they don't have the app pre-installed. Good audio and video quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that I have to update the version quite frequently. Not a bad thing as such but it happens a bit too often in my opinion. Zoom phone needs to be re-started from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating video conferencing to the rest of my tool set. Gmail etc. I can quickly add a zoom link to my calendar. The security settings are critical for me depending on if it's an internal or external call.

Blurring the background is an underrated feature.
You need Zoom!
What do you like best about the product?
It's almost impossible to not have Zoom! Email chains start to get long and convoluted, it is easy to miss important information in the thread. With Zoom, you can hop on a quick call and clarify information in real-world time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that I'd say I dislike about Zoom is that it doesn't always transfer ownership of meetings correctly. I have accepted to be the host while my co-worker was on PTO, and though I accepted ownership from the link, it still said waiting for the host to start this meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can speak, see, and hear our clients instead of just working through email. We can build real relationships with them, work through any issues we may have and resolve them on the spot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get familiar with all the apps that be configured with Zoom, and all the functions Zoom currently has. It'll make your job and life that much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has a lot of options when you're in a meeting, you have a chat, options to raise your hand, you can use background and a lot more cool stuff , you just need to check the options on the app
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be great if Zoom had more backgrounds and animated backgrounds to use but, even though it has a lot of things to do, they're quite limited on the customization of that options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Actually even that Zoom doesn't have a lot of options , is constantly updating , so I hope on that updates they are adding more customizable options for the consumer

Everything on Zoom is great, check every option so you can know everything on the app that can be really useful

What do you like best about the product?
easy to join meetings, can create rooms during meeting for some activities, easy to create a new meeting and send invite to my team members, hassle free experience made my work life very habitable in attending conferences and meetings from different places with my colleagues during work from home, if i have some technical errors I can just share my screen with IT person who can guide me in zoom call, able to chat during calls. background can be blurred if am out and people are around, idea of backgrounds are cool designed, I can go mute when I feel i have a intruder around, its just safer option during office meetings
What do you dislike about the product?
while I switch my network connection the call gets disconnected, due to which I got to re-join the meeting, it happened during my 1on1 meeting, i had to face a little discomfort

helped in attending meetings and conferences from home, could host events like small activities on last working day of the week with my teammates, benefitted me a lot in my previous job as well as in my present job, easy to arrange meetings with my clients,
Zoom is a wonderful resource for video calls, conferences and webinars
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to install and use. It's a free download in most cases. It connects people and creates the ability to video chat. It's great for virtual meetings, webinars, conferences and any time that it's beneficial to not only hear but be able to see the other participants. I think Zoom works well most of the time and is quite dependable as a means of communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's a learning curve when you start to utilize Zoom. Learning to utilize the mute option is quite beneficial. I can't think of anything that I dislike about Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom provided software that made meetings and conferences a viable option during the shutdown associated with Covid. It also bridges the gap for participants that are in different locations. I think Zoom really changed the way we were able to communicate in such a beneficial way. I like to see people when talking to them and be able to observe the nonverbal reactions people have during conversations; Zoom makes that possible.
