at first it was awkward when we have to do important meeting online.but zoom has made it mainstream and normal.compared to skype,i would prefer zoom

When you log in and you have to be allowed to enter until the host admits you. This slows video conferenceing productivity. Especially when it's the first meeting, sometimes this negatively affects the business at hand to be discussed.

Meeting with new vendors that do not have MS Teams. Everyone has Zoom and it allows you to quickly meet for a fact-finding meeting with all business vendors. We have the basic plan yet it still gives us ample ability for all our needs.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the feature to add to my google calendar and it is so much easier to meet with clients especially with covid and those who would rather meet via zoom than in person. I like the background options as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile version can be a bit confusing, but maybe just something to get used to. I also think if you are the host, it should auto sign in if the remember password is selected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like being able to schedule meetings easier and do them virtual versus in person. It is so universal so having many others know how to use it makes it easier to use.

I would recommend practicing how to use it so you are prepared when it is time to meet with a client.

That I can give or sign on with a meeting code for free. I still work from home 2 days a week so to be able to still be included on meetings during those days helps keep me on track with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it freezes or lags but that could be internet/wifi related.

Virtual meetings! It's easy to hop on and off and it's nice to see a person over camera. On the other hand it's nice to turn off your camera too.

The best part of Zoom is the ease of use. Some examples would be that the sound and video prompts are automatic, the screen sharing is very easy to use, the chat is integrated into the screen, and you can use Zoom on any device.

I do not like how high the cost options are, especially for that of the webinar features. I would also like to be able to join a call without downloading an app.

Our industry was not using Zoom until the pandemic hit in 2020. Prior to this, everything was in person so we never really imagined a world where virtual meetings would be our go to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found that the mobile app is not very friendly when it comes to creating meetings. I have had to log into my computer in order to create a meeting if I am ever on the go. So having this option would be much more beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to make and continue on with decision making when it came to not being able to meet in person. Zoom is now our go to when it comes to setting up meetings and doing anything business related.
