Easy to use and very intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can connect in 5 minutes to your data easily, with instructions to how to do it

Naming of connectors, you sometimes want different connectors to be linked to each other by name but when trying to open a new one it does not let you

Amazing Product That's Easy to Use & Best in Class!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use. Everything "just works." I'm genuinely impressed with how they've made the complicated ELT process so approachable & effortless. I've used ELT tools in the past that were super hard to configure and use, however Fivetran literally blew me away with its user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a generic REST API connector for custom applications. They work so well with the connectors they have (which is ever-growing) but having a generic connector that I could configure with custom HTTP requests would be awesome!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal Analytics! We have data in all sorts of sources (from Salesforce to our own product's databases) & Fivetran is what we use to get all the data into our data warehouse.
Easy ETL GUI!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy drag and drop functionality works great! The tools make it very easy to move data stored locally on my computer into our database, and this saves me and my team time and headaches caused by other less functional tools

File names have to be precisely the same or the data appends instead of replaces

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are considering using this software, I would say go ahead and live that dream. You should buy this tool because it will improve your everyday work and who doesn't want their job to be more accessible more fun, take less time, have more impact, and use more words such that your review receives a higher grade and you get a free gift card for filling out all the boxes. While the AI is adept at telling how many unique words I am using, it fails to capture that I just rambling in this final section in order to get my free gift card. I really just want to receive my free gift card so if you are reading this, know that when you buy the tool, you yourself will have an opportunity to complete a review of this nature and also get your own free gift card? Who doesn't love that? You could buy legos, or you could buy a scooter or you could just save the gift card for when it's someone's birthday and then get them a gift!

Very dependable service. We have found that all of the integrations work exactly as you'd expect without data inconsistencies or loss

Last I checked, you could only have one instance of each integration per account

What do you dislike about the product?
Everyone's wishlist of connectors is long and varied. As a marketing agency, we wish to have a lot more digital marketing connectors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fivetran offers a really scalable way for us to add any number of data connections. This has not only helped us automate our internal dashboard needs but in fact enables us to build a product that's powered by Fivetran.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are a lot of data integration players in the market. We tried a few of them and finally are very happy with Fivetran. Their new pricing model makes it easy to deploy many connections because pricing is based on MAR (Monthly Active Rows) instead of per connection.

Absolute game changer
What do you like best about the product?
For starters, the user interface is very friendly and intuitive. The administration of the tool requires very little effort. Fivetran works seamlessly with our Google Cloud Platform tech stack and requires almost zero troubleshooting efforts with the various connectors available. I especially love that the logging integrates so well with Google Stackdriver logs, allowing our team to see everything in one place. The support team is also highly responsive and knowledgeable. Any issues that have cropped up were promptly resolved.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, seriously. I have yet to encounter anything that I dislike about FT. We have used a data replication competitor for quite some time (which will remain anonymous), and FT blows them out of the water. This is not so much of a dislike, but I would love to see FT continue to expand their various connectors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use FT to replicate data from various platforms into our GCP data stack. These range from CRMs, marketing /advertisement, to billing platforms for our SaaS company. This abstracts the need for engineers such as myself to build out data pipelines using an API. It really minimizes the amount of development and maintenance of additional data pipelines where a FT connector is available, allowing us to better focus our time on data consumption (and pipeline building where a connector is unavailable).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend others to give it a try! There are pretty nifty sandbox connectors that you can easily integrate into your data warehouse to explore the tool. I *believe* there is a trial period to test the product before your billing cycle starts (don't quote me on this).
Easy to manage and find the right data you want
What do you like best about the product?
I like the structure of Fivetran and the searching bar feature (i often use it to search what tables/columns we have in our database) and which tables are synced/not synced.
What do you dislike about the product?
It'd be great if we can see how each table is connected with the other (what's the primary key for each table that we can join on?) For example, snowflake has a feature that allows you to see the logic tree which gives me a quick look at how each table connected with each other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
extracting data for analytical projects, operational data, strategic analytics, business-related. I'm entirely sure what this question is about.

Fivetran has been an invaluable tool to get our data to where it needs to be.

My company is taking Fivetran away, which is unfortunate!
