Notion: The Ultimate All-in-One Workspace for Projects and Ideas

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is by far the best tool I've used for bringing my projects, ideas, and tasks all into a usable space without overwhelm or clutter. The databases are incredibly robust, and using the views to quickly get actionable info or create a personal dashboard has been invaluable. I've also recently started trying the AI Agents but so far they've been both helpful and genuinely exciting to use. The ease of use is impressive given how complex their database linkage can be. I've also been very happy with the ease of integration into my own workflows. As for frequency of use, I started with playing around with Notion perhaps a couple of times a week to now multiple times a day to track all of my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer a bit more robustness in the calculation properties. Even just If-This-Then-Sum-That would be nice, and a VLOOKUP function would be incredible. But for those I can use my own Excel/Google Sheets when I need to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The connective tissue between ongoing projects, specific weeklong tasks/sprints, and meeting notes can be essential to track, and losing those connections creates a ton of friction. I've used a fair number of tools to tackle this issue and so far none have done it as effectively and as pleasantly as Notion.

Highly Customizable Organization, But Can Be Overwhelming

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion allows you to stay as organized as possible and there are endless possibilities on how you can set up notes and pages. The AI feature is actually very helpful so far too!
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that there can be so many features and different ways to organize things that it can be a little confusing on how to actually set up the page that you are trying to organize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is allowing me to keep better organization when managing projects. The AI feature helps to clearly write out thoughts or even organize pages how I want without me doing anything.

I appreciate how easy it is to navigate Notion as a personalized CRM. I also really like the ability to personalize the CRM using AI to create the functions I want with natural language. The AI tool really helped make the initial setup fairly straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the ability to link Notion with Google Calendar would be very helpful.

Streamlined Task Management Yet Needs Better Notification Control

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion for keeping all documents together under one main header and allowing me to set and distribute tasks. I like the ability to drop in tables and Kanban views, which provide an easy way to view tasks that need to be completed. The drag-and-drop system is easy to use, and the initial setup of Notion was straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can be tagged in a lot of tasks that maybe aren't relevant to you and end up with a list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps all my documents organized under one header, lets me set and distribute tasks easily. The tables and Kanban views offer an easy way to visualize tasks with a drag-and-drop system.

Efficient and Aesthetic with a Handy AI Boost

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the AI function in Notion for turning text into graphs, tables, and visuals, as it is better suited for the content. It saves me a ton of time in formatting because I can simply highlight large blocks of text, and it does the work for me instead of manually creating tables and copying text into each square. Notion is also very efficient and aesthetic, and I use the free plan even for my own personal projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well the AI function doesn't work so well on formulas or automation. Sometimes it doesn't understand how to 'convert' the data. For example, I needed ROI as a formula and it kept spitting out wrong numbers or in formats that don't make sense for ROI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves task misalignment with its templates and saves me a ton of time by using AI to auto-format large blocks of text into visuals like graphs and tables.

Valuable for Tasks, But Challenging to Set Up

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion is already integrated into my task list.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the setup of Notion not user friendly. Also, there is a need to incorporate deep research capabilities when using it with Gemini 3.0.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me with code switching in emails, adjusting my tone for different audiences.

Unmatched AI Capabilities and Effortless Collaboration

  • January 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's AI capability is second to none. Having multiple LLM options built in, along with the ability to provide grounding content through pages and transcribed meeting notes making getting a leg up and starting work very easy. Works very well as well for querying a space when multiple team members are contributing to content within it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The iPad OS version is a little tricky to use on iPad Mini.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Works as a great space to share information and build operating spaces across team.

  • January 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Though it's intimidating to get started with, the variety of tools and templates available make this one of the most powerful platforms out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to love it, but the Notion Inbox isn't that great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From note taking to tracking projects, I'm using Notion more and more.

Flexible, Scalable, but Needs Performance Optimization

  • January 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's flexibility and scalability, as it works just as well for simple workflows as it does for more structured team processes. The flexibility lets us tailor it to our specific process instead of changing how we work, and as we grow, it scales easily from simple task tracking to more structured systems without needing to switch tools. I appreciate how using Notion helps keep information centralized and reduces miscommunication by giving everyone a single source of truth. The initial setup was very easy and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that performance can slow down as workspaces grow, especially when working with large databases or pages with a lot of linked content, and it happens occasionally rather than all the time. Onboarding new team members also takes some time, and clearer templates, guided walkthroughs, and short in-app tips would make it easier for new team members to get started quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep information centralized and reduces miscommunication by providing a single source of truth. Its flexibility allows us to tailor our processes without changing how we work, and it scales easily from simple tasks to structured systems, making it invaluable.

Flexible Organizer with a Slight Learning Curve

  • January 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to organize my daily tasks, store notes, and plan both work and personal projects. It helps me stay organized and keeps everything in one place instead of being spread across different apps. I like how clean and flexible it is. It adapts well to different workflows and grows with my needs. The block-based editor and database make a big difference. Being able to mix text, tasks, tables, and views on the same page lets me set things up in a way that fits how I work. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app can feel a bit heavy at times, and some features take effort to learn. It feels a little slow sometimes, and a few features aren't very intuitive at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my daily tasks, store notes, and plan projects. It helps me stay organized, keeping everything in one place instead of different apps.
