Flexible All-in-One Workspace, But Performance and Search Can Lag

    Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Notion is that it can replace five different apps by bringing notes, tasks, and docs into one clean workspace. The flexibility to build custom databases—whether as Kanban boards, calendars, or simple lists—lets me organize projects in a way that matches how my brain works.

The block-based editor makes it feel effortless to structure information, and being able to link pages together helps create a strong knowledge base for the whole team. Overall, it cuts down on clutter and keeps everyone on the same page, without the usual chaos.
What do you dislike about the product?
What frustrates me most about Notion is how sluggish it becomes once you start building larger databases or heavier pages—the performance lag is real, and it’s especially noticeable on mobile.

Search can also feel surprisingly clunky. When you have a massive workspace, finding a specific note often ends up being harder than it should be.

I’m also not a big fan of the steep learning curve for new team members, and offline mode still feels pretty unreliable if you suddenly lose Wi‑Fi in the middle of working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What it really solves for me is app overload. Before, I was constantly bouncing between separate tools for notes, project boards, and docs, but Notion brings all of that under one roof.

Thanks to the block system, I’m not forced into a rigid, pre-built layout. I can structure pages in a way that matches how I actually think and work. That saves me a ton of time on context-switching, keeps my personal stuff organized, and helps ensure my team is always looking at the exact same source of truth.

Flexible, Easy-to-Configure Workflows with Powerful Views in Notion

    Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like the balance between flexibility and ease it takes to work in the Notion system. I can stage a Kanban view to manage a workflow and then add multiple views in less than an hour. I can configure and update properties very quickly to adjust the workflow as it encounters real world use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limitations on automations in Notion. Right now, Notion is clearly pushing for an agentic workflow, but in addition to it not being very economical with the rising costs of tokens, it is also non deterministic and hard to confirm it is doing the behavior I would like it to do. It would be great to have access to page properties either from within a page, or while working on some automation flows so that I can create workflows using Notion's great database system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion makes it easier to plan my day to day and capture my thoughts on any of the work I do throughout the day while keeping it organized in a relational database model.

The Ultimate Workspace for Productivity and Organization

    Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as my central workspace for both work and personal productivity, and having everything in one place helps me stay organized and productive. What I like most about Notion is its flexibility. I can customize it to fit my workflow, instead of changing the way I work. I especially like the databases, templates, linked pages, and dashboards which make it easy to organize projects and information. I also appreciate that I can use it for both work and personal planning in a single workspace. The AI features are another highlight - they help me draft content, summarize notes, and save time on routine tasks. The database feature helps me organize tasks, notes, and projects in a structured way instead of maintaining multiple documents. I use templates to quickly create consistent pages for recurring work, which saves time. Linked pages make it easy to connect related information, so I don't have to search through different folders or apps. Dashboards give me a single view of my priorities, ongoing work, and personal goals. I also found the initial setup of Notion to be quite easy. Creating pages and taking notes was straightforward, and the available templates helped me get started quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall experience with Notion has been very positive, but there are a few areas that could be improved. There is a learning curve for new users, especially when setting up advanced databases, relations, and automations. The mobile app is useful for quick updates, but I find the desktop experience much smoother for editing and managing larger workspaces. I would also like to see more built-in reporting and analytics for databases, along with easier ways to create advanced workflows without relying on third-party integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes all my work and personal information, reducing time spent searching for data. It organizes tasks, documents, and projects efficiently, boosting productivity. I love its customization, allowing me to tailor workflows. Features like databases and AI tools enhance efficiency and structure.

Simple CRM Setup, Room for Improvement

    Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's ease of use, both for setting up my business's CRM and for my work needs. It's been simple to set up, especially with AI instructions making it straightforward. I like using it at work, where it effectively records meetings and simplifies finding information by housing everything in one place. This includes documents, SOPs, and guides, so I don’t have to search multiple locations. Having all my recordings accessible in one spot is also helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that in Notion you can click and change everything so easily. Sometimes important information gets convoluted because there's so many things that are clickable and adjustable, even major things that shouldn't be altered by just anyone. For me, it's like a company site, and not everything should be removable or changeable by just anyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion's easy setup helps me manage my CRM. I store all client documents, emails, and contacts centrally. At work, I record meetings for quick recaps and keep information accessible in one place, saving me time. However, its flexibility sometimes leads me to accidentally alter important content.

Notion Keeps Everything Organized in One Clean, Customizable Workspace

    Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion brings everything together in one place. Rather than keeping notes, tasks, and project details scattered across different apps, I can organize it all within a single workspace. The interface feels clean, the pages are easy to customize, and it works well for both personal planning and collaborative group projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of time to get comfortable with all the features, especially when you’re using it for the first time. Some of the more advanced options aren’t very easy to locate, and when working with larger pages, it can sometimes feel a little slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before I started using Notion, my information was scattered across different notebooks and apps. Now I can keep my notes, assignments, and project plans all in one place, which makes it much easier to stay organized. I spend less time searching for things, and it’s also helped me keep better track of deadlines.
