Very helpful for many components of the work life
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is filled with to-do lists and calendars that are very helpful for keeping your life organized
What do you dislike about the product?
How is lacks how to use it in different ways.I would like for the app to display many ways to use it instead of being vague.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is providing me with marketing help, managing my daily schedule, keeping up with bookkeeping and subscriptions, organizing my sheets, and so much more.
Powerful Productivity Tool
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I like best about Notion is its versatility. It can be used for so many different purposes, from project management to note-taking to personal wikis. Additionally, it is highly customizable and can be tailored to fit individual workflows and preferences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being such a powerful tool means that you can do so many things with Notion.
Getting started is overwhelming, and documentation appears to be very generic.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Notion, we can create a common place for all of our notes, private or not. Our tasks, our templates, our product plans etc... We can communicate within one doc in real-time making it much easier to get feedback and to stya organized.
Notion AI
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has a nice user interface and is easy to use. Notion AI is a convenient way to access GPT-3. Notion is the best note app that u have used. Overall, I would strongly recommend Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion AI occasionally will not work. Notion customer support is bad. Usually takes up to 2 weeks to get a reply. Notion AI only uses GPT-3 so AI responses are a lot worse than ChatGPT.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is an easy way to access to access GPT-3. It also does a nice job formating the response.
Efficient & Helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly Notion is and how easy it is to navigate the platform. It's quite intuitive too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the pre-filled templates are a bit overdone. I also wish it wasn't so expensive for the whole team to utilize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving my writing ruts and helps inspire me through the AI feature. This is benefitting me by giving me a faster document-creation turnaround time

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's a massive database and can have notes in notes in notes.
I love the different types of views of databases - gallery, table and calendar are my favorites.
I love the personalization in adding a cover image and icon.
I love being able to share a live links
I love the flexibility in using the different different content blocks on one page.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't reorganize tabs
I don't like that I can't customize regular tables more (I love the tables on Evernote, do that)
I don't like that the components aren't very responsive for mobile. So for database tables it's hard to view as a live link on a phone, lots of scrolling
I don't like that shared notes shared by others aren't on my main page and need to go to the other persons page using the drop down to view it. Everything should be on one page which just a indicator who shared it
I don't like that if I give someone permission to a page I also have to give them to sub pages and they can't access things.
I wish Notion AI could create and update databases
I wish I could change the view on calendar view on database to see 1 week, 2 week blocks. I would also like the current week to be at the top, even if it's at the end of the month and be back click back one week at a time rather than 1 month.

Organization and sharing of notes. I use it for everything from my personal life in organizing to my to list, Trip planning / travel guides, family responsibilities, etc. for work I use it for project management, notes in meetings, brainstorming, etc

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to capture and create a mental library for our knowledge workers, and customizing in a way that works for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not easy to sign up for some reason. I had to jump through hoops to figure out how.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving or knowledge silos. As a knowledge workers is our duty to make core problems obvious. -and provide access to solutions.

What do you like best about the product?
It helped me do menial tasks like tables, and saved me hundred of hours.

The product should be free for a few turns each month.

Notion for Students
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is pretty much the ideal tool for everything a student needs. I can use it as a basic word processor and then export as a pdf so I don't need to pay for Microsoft office. I can use it instead of excel to create powerful tables and equations. I can use Notion AI to accelerate my planning of essays and presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can find that it can be buggy from time to time. Also, I wish it had better import capabilities. I want to be able to import a PDF and it appear in Notion as pure text. I also wish Notion AI could use information in embeds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving my previous issues of lack of consolidation within projects. Instead of having documents in word and one drive, tables in excel, project management timelines in Jira and then having to have a calendar that is not synced with everything. Notion allows me to have everything in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
It's great to organise documentation, both for work and personal use. The AI writing assistant is incredibly helpful and makes workflows faster and more accurate.

Nothing to dislike – it's a great product.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the option of making shorter as synthesis power is something I strive for (read Essentialism book). I also like the improve writing. Hadn't use the other features yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the grammar is off. I also use Grammarly and would love an integration as Grammarly improves writing in a more controlled way and also provides synonyms. I find myself going back and forth between both tools to get the result i want and it's a bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralize communication, knowledge base and specially the fact that i built a client portal to share project advancements with clients. increasing transparency and aligning expectations.
I still think the databases functions, particularly regarding timeline views and calendar need more features. They're too basic.
Timeline could show tasks and dependencies a bit more advanced like in asana. Hadnt been able to configure this it as much as i would like to to match PM asana provides.
Calendar needs an expanded version like hours similar to google calendar.
I'd love to sync tasks with my google calendar without needing additional integrations like akiflow.
