Excellent tool to organize information
What do you like best about the product?
Our department manages a large amount of information stored across multiple platforms. It has been challenging to maintain consistency, streamline workflows, and ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need. We've been actively searching for a centralized solution that meets all our needs: user-friendly, visually appealing, multifunctional, and sustainable for long-term use. Time and again, we find ourselves returning to Notion. Its intuitive interface, clean and customizable design, and flexibility to adapt to our evolving needs make it stand out. It has proven to be the one platform that consistently checks all our boxes, making it the ideal choice for our department's long-term information management strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the most challenging aspects of using Notion is the initial learning curve. It requires an upfront investment of time and effort to understand how the platform works and how to best tailor it to your needs. For many on my team, the vast array of features and customization options felt overwhelming at first. However, once they took the time to explore its capabilities and move past that initial hurdle, the experience became much more intuitive and rewarding. With a bit of practice, everything starts to click. In short, the learning curve is real, but it's well worth the effort. Once you're over that first step, everything else flows naturally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our department has been actively searching for a centralized platform to store and manage all of our knowledge, resources, and documentation in one accessible place. With information previously spread across various tools and locations, it became clear that we needed a more streamlined and organized solution. Notion has been instrumental in helping us build out that centralized hub. Its flexibility allows us to create customized pages for everything from standard operating procedures and project plans to meeting notes and team resources. As we continue to build and refine our space, Notion has proven to be a powerful tool in bringing our knowledge together in a way that’s both structured and easy to navigate.
One of the best productivity tools on the PLANET
What do you like best about the product?
I spent years looking for the ONE tool that could be my "second brain". I went from using pen and paper to using 13 different applications, to using just Notion. I wanted one centralized place to manage notes, tasks, projects, goals, taily tracking, feedback, client meetings, ect and Notion fits the bill. Notion is simple and easy to use, there are dozens of free or cheap templates to suit their needs, and I use it every single day. The customer support is east to access and helpful, and I have virtually no complaints. On top of that, Notion AI makes it simple and easy to analyze my data and find things, and makes it easy for my team to do the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have virtually zero complaints. Once in a while there is some clunkiness (usually user error) and I also wish there was a way to use specific areas without internet access, but otherwise zero complaints

Keeps everything in all areas of my life and business in one place in an easy to access, search, and use fashion

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how customisable Notion is for my needs. It’s flexible in design and isn’t limited by a certain layout. If I need to change how one page looks compared to another, I can, and I love that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that some features aren’t as easy to understand, like the use of members. I also dislike the need to charge and pay for members individually—$12 is a LOT per person to make them a member.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping me centralise everything I have for a project in one location and it keeps it easy to find what I’m looking for.

The Notion AI is terrible at writing. It's more of a RAG search + robot tone.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for documenting my experiments and organizing them after-the fact.
Also, I use this to create live links for teams to read my "blog".

Efficient AI-Driven Document Management with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I find the Notion AI quite useful for summarizing content and finding relevant documents from organized content. It's like having a Google search engine within Notion, which is not something you usually get. It really helps me figure out where the relevant documents are by acting like a search engine, and I think that's pretty amazing. Also, I think Notion is pretty overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the content preparation is not actually clear about what's nesting what in the hierarchy. That part can be improved. Also, when there are several related documents and some hierarchy, it's not that clear to find or locate in the hierarchy, which could be made clearer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion makes it quick to find summaries and relevant documents from organization content. The AI acts like a search engine, helping me easily locate relevant information, saving time from going through documents one by one.

What do you like best about the product?
The use of the AI tool to help translate business content from English to French.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Notion could be more easily intertwined with Google Apps and tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Out of all the AI tools out there, as I work in a business that covers both Ontario and Quebec, the Notion AI has the best translations when going from English to French Canadian. Most tools translate to France French which is very different from French Canadian, and Notion is able to recognize the difference
Beautiful but Sometimes Overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
Notion’s customisation is stunning—once you get the hang of it, you can create beautiful, organised pages. Notion AI is a great tool as it uses your Notion database and internet this can all be customised.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s easy to get lost with too many layers and pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling, tasks, managing client base, keeping a history and time management.
The best tool for a university student
What do you like best about the product?
I take a lot of notes and notion is much easier to use as a note taking platform than any other software I’ve tried (one note, word). I love how you can copy and paste from articles into notion and notion already adds a font and font size to it so that you do not to edit the pasted content. I love how much easier it is to print out notes than one note (that has no borders). The forward hash button is amazing and makes creating tables, columns, doing any other fast action so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not sure if this is my computer or a new update to the app, but I am unable to highligt and select more than one image to add to my notion page at any one time. I have to add only one individual image each time which is more time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organise my notes in an efficient and structured way. AI is a great tool to give me direction in assignments and help fact check my learning.

What do you like best about the product?
Love how it's intuitive, feature rich, manageable and easy to use. I can access the stuff on any device which is really great and overall it's a brilliant tool in my honest opinion for being productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Offline mode not supported and on mobile and iOS app, the scroll level is not maintained when going through a large table, once I am done with reading the side peek tab, it just loses the scroll level and pushes me back to the top which is super annoying, not the case in web and desktop versions though.
