AI Writing Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
Notion helps me jump start my podcast project. For script writing, it helps me with brainstorming ideas, creative writing, translation, and maintaining consistent writing style.
It is also a place to organize my episodes and becomes a knowledge base for me to search and query past episodes.

At first, it’s a bit overwhelming with all its functions, and I may end up with only using a few of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bootstrapping my podcast project by providing an ultra efficient platform for script writing.
Notion does what all my other AI systems wont
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love that my AI can integrate and research and review all of my databases and workspace information, this is invaluable when I am quickly searching for info inside of a specific service we offer, and it can even read the contents of my documents and extract the specific phrase i am trying to clarify, like SOPs for my high net worth client consultancies.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like the separation of AI access to file contents when working from a page.
For example, when building out a new page I want to hit "/" and give a command to fill a table with the info from the file on the page above, but the AI cannot read the contents. Instead, I have to go to the file itself and select its options to ask the AI to read its contents and produce a table from there. This little nuance is something I run into a lot.
The same effect happens with the overarching AI on the bottom right if the screen, vs when working with the AI on the page. The overarching AI does not have access to the page contents the same way the Page Specific AI function does when simply typing "/" and listing a commmand.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent UI and connectivity across all internal systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apart from the AI, the core platform has a lot of features -- that's what I dislike, too many features. It can be difficult to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Google for internal databases and platforms. I can learn and search for company information without playing Sherlock with multiple people to arrive at an answer.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion in my freelance grant writing work. I increasingly use Notion AI to find information that may be buried in a page under subheadings. It understands my prompts and the more information I add, the more Notion AI learns and can better answer my questions. **Note: I submitted a screenshot of my personal account as I'm not authorized to disclose my business pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get a bit confusing sometimes because I tend to treat it like a Microsoft product when using menu items, and performing tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me compile information I need to perform my work. I write, and the AI function learns the material quickly then remembers it for later use.

It's great that you can create a whole operating system to manage everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Realistically, unless you're an advanced user, it's like designing and building a website from scratch. The UX really isn't intuitive. You have to know what you're looking for. Simply changing the text isn't in the same place as changing the colour of the text. I've made appointments several times but nobody has shown up. Templates are great, but they're not a one size fits all model. I've been using Chat GTP to help guide notion AI because, Notion AI isn't there yet. I'm asking it to build simple tables and it's building them with guide data, not what I'm giving in. I will persist because I can see the value, but I've wasted so much time trying to understand the platform, when if the customer service was better and more available I think I'd be flyhing by now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have several revenue streams and I'm trying to manage them all from one operating system. The finance is something I definitely can't include because it won't build simple tables where I can forecast. However everything else I can see how it can work, but the UX is so clunky and support is unavailable it''s more time wasiting than effective at the moment.
Simple and Powerful Work / Personal Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of picking up Notion and improving your collaboration with teammates are easily my favorite things about Notion. It's helped me communicate effectively with my team by reducing a lot of back and forth that we traditionally didn't have with other collaborative workspace tools. I'm also very excited by the number of new AI features being released so often. It's also helped me keep my life more organized with friends and family, and we can often collaborate on trips or events we plan together :)
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some small design decisions of where a specific button or editing function is that sometimes is difficult to find. Other than that, I don't have any real complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Open collaboration, simplifying our project management operations, and acting as a knowledge base for all company information and resources. It also helps us stay organized as a team and have one central spot for sources of truth.

What do you like best about the product?
I can have all of my projects on one same space, as well as my personal things. I literally organise my whole life on Notion, from new projects for work, to my personal appointments and calendar. I use it every single day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the AI could be better, in the sense of having a chat with it, being able to continue with the questions, just like the chat in chat gpt. It's easier to give feedback that way.

Helps me edit my writing, reate great translations, organise my workflow, keep my projects well organized and with good content

Notion AI has become an incredibly useful tool that truly simplifies my daily workflow. What I appreciate most is its ability to create pages and content, add links, and even enhance the aesthetic appeal of a page with just a simple command. The work just gets done!

Sometimes, the AI can freeze and become quite slow, which can interrupt the flow of work. Also, I've noticed it's not as efficient at providing improvements to existing pages. It shines brightest when you need to create something entirely from scratch.

I like how, when struggling with words or just a general idea, Notion AI helps by giving me the ability to perfectly format words and see my ideas plainly.

There are certain limitations that come from using the AI, such as detailed thoughts or sometimes, it won't really do what I've asked from it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a writer, I struggle with seeing my planning in front of me. With Notion, I am able to make detailed tables to help organize my characters and other plot ideas.

It does everything. I no longer need a CMS, note taking app, DB app, calendar etc. notion links it all in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the AI was unrestricted like Grok. Sometimes when I’m recording a meeting and there’s some dirty or colorful language the AI will not output the summary. Seeing as I work on movie and book scripts this makes it challenging

It really connects all my business related needs and personal needs together
