More detailed Kanbans with nested subtasks and turning them into reusable templates for new project sprints can be unreliable at times.

Helping me organize all of the different businesses I have my hands dipped into. Reselling clothing, marketing / business consulting in fashion space, and building a retail company are included in my uses. As well as general daily to-do's.
Works pretty well, an improved version of Quip I used before

* Writing is easy, the editing experience is what is the most important to me and it works fine.
* The search over internal documents works
* AI summarization of documents works too but no always answer my question. It does link to the original documents it used though.

What do you dislike about the product?
The AI generated results could be improved. I still have to look at the source documents about half the time. But this might be because we don't have that much documentation, so not enough data for the AI to work off.

While Notion is incredibly powerful, it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming for new users due to its vast range of features and customization options. The initial learning curve is steep, and setting up advanced databases or templates can be time-consuming without prior experience. Additionally, offline access is still limited, which can be a challenge when working in areas with poor internet connectivity.

Use of NotionAI
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is how easily it helps me get up to speed—especially coming into a new team. Since I just joined, I’ve been using Notion to quickly find answers to questions that would otherwise get buried in Slack channels or long message threads. It’s been incredibly helpful to search for key decisions, project context, and shared resources without having to scroll through weeks of chat history. It really cuts down on the back-and-forth and helps me feel more self-sufficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Notion is that while it pulls from Slack, it still doesn’t integrate well with tools like Salesforce. Notion AI does a great job surfacing internal knowledge and even referencing Slack conversations, but when it comes to external systems like CRMs, there's still a disconnect. I often find myself jumping between Notion and Salesforce to piece things together, and it would be a huge value-add if Notion could bring in more structured, real-time data from tools like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the problem of scattered knowledge and onboarding inefficiency. As someone who just joined, it's been incredibly helpful to have a centralized place where I can find past decisions, project context, and key resources without relying solely on Slack history or asking teammates. It makes onboarding much faster and less disruptive—I'm able to search for what I need, understand the “why” behind decisions, and get up to speed independently. It’s also reducing duplicate questions and saving everyone time.
All of our company knowledge in one place
What do you like best about the product?
I love how flexible Notion is. Whether I’m building out a project dashboard, tracking event logistics, or just jotting down ideas, it molds to whatever I need it to be. The ability to link databases, create custom views, and keep everything visually clean is a huge plus. It’s become my go-to hub for both team collaboration and personal planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s definitely a learning curve, especially if you’re trying to do anything more advanced. It can also get a bit laggy when you’re working with large databases or lots of linked pages. I wish the mobile app had more power and that there were better offline options—it’s not ideal when you’re traveling or in a low-signal area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has become our central command center. It’s helped us replace scattered docs, spreadsheets, and Slack threads with one organized, living system. We use it for everything—onboarding staff, building client resource libraries, tracking event logistics, documenting best practices, and even logging team performance notes. The ability to create linked databases has saved us hours by reducing duplicate work and helping us spot gaps in real-time. It’s made our operations more transparent, streamlined, and scalable—especially helpful as we grow and take on more national partnerships.
