A flexible, all-in-one workspace with a few quirks
What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable and flexible Notion is. It allows me to manage projects, documents, tasks, and team collaboration all in one place. The interface is clean and intuitive, and I appreciate how easy it is to create databases, templates, and dashboards tailored to my workflow. It’s also great that it works across devices and supports real-time collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
While powerful, Notion can have a bit of a learning curve—especially for new users who aren’t familiar with its block-based system. It can also feel a little slow or clunky with larger pages or databases, and some advanced features require a bit of workarounds. Offline functionality could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me consolidate multiple tools into one workspace. Instead of switching between separate apps for notes, task management, document sharing, and databases, I can keep everything organized in one place. This saves time, improves focus, and helps my team stay aligned. It also gives me the flexibility to build systems that fit how I work, rather than having to adapt to rigid tools.

I always confused with synced block. I always delete it accidentally.

It’s tempting to do too much with it, or invest too much in keeping up with new features and functions.

Sometimes the leering curve has felt steep for new team members with no previous experience

This is going to be a bombshell product once automation elements are attached to this.
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like about notion is that it helps with tracking my regular daily activities and helps me coordinate my long term personal goals. I would like to use this with my team but they are addicted to excel ( which isnt always very useful)
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion needs to add more built in automations. I would also like to see a dedicated "watch emails" automation and then perfom an action. Email management in my view is the Achillies heel of most people today.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem Notion is solving involves categorizing and helping me view my daily tasks in a great view it is great however. I NEED YOU GUYS TO IMPLEMENT AUTOMATIONS NOT JUST AI AUTOCOMPLETE, SO I DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO MAKE.COM AND PAINSTAKINGLY MAKE THEM DAMN IT! I hate connecting make.com automations to notion. You guys need inhouse solutions.

The AI and ease of moving blocks around. I use it on a daily basis for writing product specs and it helps make my work presentable and Imformative

Dragging blocks around could be more intuitive.

I love the ability to harness the AI writing assistant changing my short form notes and thoughts into more fleshed out ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take a minute to get up to speed, and when you have a list of pages it can be a pain to get back to where you started once you have entered a page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me gather all my thoughts in one place and transform them into actions so I can excecute.

I use it for everything from note-taking and project management to keeping track of my 1:1 notes and even for my dissertation. The ability to combine databases, calendars, checklists, and embedded media all in one page makes it easy to use.

It can take a while to learn how to use it effectively.

Notion helps me stay organized by bringing all my notes, tasks, and projects into one place. It solves the problem of switching between multiple apps by combining documents, to-do lists, and databases in a single, customizable workspace. This has made my workflow more efficient and helped me stay focused and on track.

Notion stands out for its ease of use and smooth implementation. We use it daily (frequency of use) for everything from documentation to project management. It offers a wide number of features, yet remains intuitive and flexible. The ease of integration with tools like Slack and Google Drive enhances our workflow. Additionally, customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever needed. A great all-in-one tool for teams looking for simplicity and power.

It's easier and beneficial having everything in one place - leading to better organization, easier collaboration, and increased productivity. It’s flexible enough to fit different team needs while reducing the need for multiple tools. A lot of the team collaborate with Notion.
