College Professor Life Hack
What do you like best about the product?
NotionAI helps me create assignments and lesson plans. It takes my garbled ideas and clarifies them so that others might understand what's happening in my head. Expert level life hack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Back links can be fussy. I wish I could use it with my colleagues without paying out of pocket (university won't cover it because we have access to sharepoint/onenote but come on.. Notion is so much better.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize curriculum and collect interesting articles/videos to use as class examples and case studies. I like the visual nature of the product.

Way better interface than working within google docs

I wish templates were blank instead having to delete example information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy collaboration with team within a doc, especially during meetings. I love how AI makes formatting so much easier and quicker.
Notion is the perfect note taking app that can be customized to any level of detail you want it.

I love the databases and everything they can do in combination with templates.

I'm not the biggest fan of the mobile experience or the lack of graphs options

Notion is helping me gather my notes and thoughts and organize them into actionable metrics and projects to progress my life with clear goals

Keep everything together. It supports and help me structure my thoughts.

I doesn't integrate OneNote. I would like to draw and type on pdf files and screenshots w/o leaving the app.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the "improve my writing ai feature" + "shorten it" I use it for all my note taking and follow up emails and have completely pivoted from using chatGPT to 100% notion. I also like the collaboration internally on Notion. It's pretty addictive too. I was a apple notes guy before I came to Augment and now I never use apple notes as it's easier to keep track of action items and forward notes onto my peers using Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love it if we could commit to using Notion as our CRM but we just bought SFDC which will be the tool/CRM we ultimately use and SFDC sucks imo compared to Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AI writing assistant for sending out customer and internal follow up notes. Knowledge base = collaboration on documents we use internally and externally. Note taking has been game changing

What do you like best about the product?
I must admit, I was hesitant to try it at first, but after using Notion AI for about a month now, I have to say it's an amazing feature. The editing and contextual capabilities are simply fantastic!

Nothing, is all good. I feel is a good feature, well built.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the AI writing feature, as well as the easy use of toggles, bullets, etc. This allows me to streamline my writing process signficiantly (no need to copy and paste into chat GPT)

I've noticed that sometimes documents that have been updated by different parties don't automtically sync for other people viewing the doc, which causes signficant confusion in the day to day work flow

What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can take notes and then leverage the built in AI to help me write what I need to write. I also leverage Notion to start my outlines for writing my decks for presenations and I can ask Ai to summarize initial thoughts. The interface makes it super easy to do this! I think I have yet to scratch the surface of what Notion can do but so far I love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe just a better way to organize all of my notes/ Teamspaces. Right now, it's all in the side bar so over time, it's gotten a lot to school through. It's not bad, it still works and is easy to use but when you have a lot of content, that's when it becomes hard to navigate.
I'm not sure if Notion has this or not, but many times I've wanted to leverage transcription in my meetings so that then I can go back and derive some action items and summary for my meetings. Not sure if there is a listening text to note feature or not but that would enhance our experience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a hard time keeping up and track of meeting notes. That is primarily what I use it for. However, I also use it when I need to write a deck. I am a designer and often have trouble finding the right words to say. Notion has helped me rewrite my initial thoughts on something I want to say that is much more polished and helps me to summarize it. It also enhances my writing by offering additional supporting text, which I love. I'm not a great writer, I'm more of a designer so not only does it help me write content, it helps me to organize meeting notes. I would however like if it could also transcribe audio that I could turn into text which would enable me to summarize meetings and determine action items from meetings so I can concentrate in the meetings and not have to be taking notes.
