Save time with Notion AI
What do you like best about the product?
There are ready templates for different purposes. I use the one for class notes and it is perfect for my university notetaking. Lots of features, especially Notion AI. It saved my time significantly writing notes and drafting ideas for essays.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is quite complicated, to be honest, and quite difficult to navigate through at first. I still don't know how to create a template and optimize all features but I utilize the ready-made templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Save time to create templates and organize everything. The class note template is superb, easy to use and makes my note looks simple and neat for revision.

Notion supports various features suitable for note--taking and project implementations. Encourages creativity and it has a nice-looking interface

Notion is my go-to for note taking and its system supports the organization of notes very well. It also has features such as AI writing which makes things easier

What do you like best about the product?
Notion in general has been a huge value-add to the stealth startup I've been building, but with the power of AI, I am moving faster than ever. In the past I've used Google docs and sharing features to get information in front of people, but that simply does not offer the brand experience I'm trying to develop. Now, Notion is the home to my documentation, resources, and templates that I offer to those in our brand ecosystem, which makes it look significantly more professional.
For a year, I have also been using ChatGPT and other tools wrapped in ML and gen AI models. They are good, but typically fall short of being viable solutions. Notion AI on the other hand uses the same technology but absorbs all of the information that I put into a document or resource, and can quickly support these use cases:
• Summarize transcripts
• Expand or improve writing
• Develop outlines and expand creative briefs
• Adjust the voice/tone of content
• Help generate new ideas and squash writer's block

Currently, I can't say there is anything that I don't like about Notion.
It does exactly what I need it to, is priced well, and its product roadmap is delivering beyond expectations.

I primarily use Notion as my source of truth and to securely share information with external parties.

It's good for notes and summary and translations. It should use open ai 4.

That it's not ai 4, I find it a bit sad since I'm paying.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of Notion is how customisable it is. As a University student the ability to structure and organise all my notes, timetables, to-do's and deadlines has become increasingly important. I have ADHD and I can customise Notion to really help with the challenges that come with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact I cannot FULLY combine my google calendar, I have downloaded it as a widget but it does not display all the information to the efficiency that google cal does. I also would also love more access to fonts, shapes and sizes for creative text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I will utilise Notion's AI to assist when I am struggling to write academically. I have difficulty staying on task and I have created a to-do list to help with that.

1. Ability to use templates shared by other users which make it quick and easy to set up new pages
2. AI writing function provides a really easy-to-use tool for writing different types of outputs with different tones. I often use this as a starting point for reports, as it gives a helpful structure. It can also be used to enhance written work (e.g. reports, emails) by varying the tone of imported text.

What do you dislike about the product?
Notion has very little apparent structure or purpose when you start using it. I found that trying out free templates shared by other users was a helpful way to overcome this and develop some structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me to prepare clear and effective written material much more quickly.
The ability to use Notion to develop a structure for emails and reports is a real timesaver and the ability to change the tone of writing via AI is great.

Notion used in small law office
What do you like best about the product?
We use Notion to help jot notes about client meetings; link to task items, and keep tract of matters between office staff. The ability to link to other pages and assign tasks is much easier and user friendly than our existing client management software due to the all in one page and side views, versus having to open separate pages, etc. We use it in conjunction with our client management program. It is not a complete replacement.
What do you dislike about the product?
One very frustrating problem is not being able to export comments on pages, only the text input. When a matter is closed we like to print the corresponding Notion pages for the file. However, exporting does not include any comments, which are useful when staff makes notations regarding attempts to contact clients, quick status updates, etc.
I do wish the AI could be better trained, however, in learning a "writing style" of the respective user, as an individual voice and standard way we typically phrase things would be preferred over the typical AI reponses. Example, 'write a closing letter in "My Business Style" to a client regarding their matter" where I could bullet point a few things and it would know my preferred writing style would be a huge boost, and something I know other AI writing tools can implement. I'd also like better formatting options when it generates something so we can easily export to another document.
Also, it would be nice to have fully working integration with Google Calendar without an additional cost, given we already subscribe to the AI together with the program.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us keep better tract of to-do items and linking between pages concerning client meetings, etc. Together with being about to drag and drop documents and materials necessary for follow up with those matters and tagging staff members and keeping a running status tab on matters keeps relevant tasks all in one place.
The AI is nice in helping us create forms, summarize meeting notes, summarize emails, etc. that we can use to make our practice more efficient. Learned writing styles and consistency amont the AI generated letters, summaries, etc. would be a nice improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Notion is its integration of AI functions which significantly enhance productivity and organization. The ability to use smart templates and databases to automate tasks is a game changer. Notion’s AI cleverly streamlines the process of managing information, from planning projects to tracking habits, all within an intuitive interface. The seamless synthesis of notes, tasks, and databases, powered by intelligent algorithms, makes it easier to connect ideas and get work done efficiently. Its AI capabilities help in transforming scattered thoughts into structured action plans, which is why I find it incredibly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect of Notion that can be challenging is its reliance on advanced features, such as AI, to perform basic functions. For instance, without the AI to assist, I find it quite cumbersome to manually create and manage tables or to organize content effectively. The platform has a steep learning curve, and the absence of intuitive AI-driven guidance makes it difficult for me to set up even fundamental structures like databases or to sort information logically. This dependency on AI for essential tasks can be a significant barrier to maximizing the potential of Notion for those not well-versed in its more complex functionalities.

Notion streamlines our team's workflow by serving as a central hub for all critical information, encompassing everything from holiday schedules to comprehensive manuals and detailed documents pertaining to new releases.

Everyday tasks and managing multiple things at once. Using Q&A with AI to take minutes for meetings and help with answering questions about almost anything!
