The best note taking app I have ever used
What do you like best about the product?
It makes my notes easy to read and very aesthetic, which I find important while studying. It also has a very intuitive UI and incredible planning items such as calendars and timelines, which has definitely saved me from procrastination over the time I have had notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is missing some features which would be very useful to have such as an 'a to dictionary' feature on the app of allowing functions within tables, but those are the only things I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to plan out certain projects bit by bit in order to have a stronger understanding of what and when I am doing a project, which is something I previously did not have and so my project schedule was messy and didn't work. I also see many functions in the app as a way to make notes more readable.
Best product I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create the system I need for my life and business without compromise
What do you dislike about the product?
It's capacity for so much personalisation means I often spend too much time in the creation of the perfect information storage system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy access to research, content and planning for reuse. Information is literally at my finger tips. As someone with ADHD this is a game changer
I used notion for university purposes, managing my freelance jobs and as a site for tutoring people
What do you like best about the product?
The toggle features are a great and easy way to organise. The ease of creating different pages and organising in 1 "dashboard" is also very amazing and quite easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's quite hard to start with and occasionally can be very hard to maintain using notion. This could be better if there was a good intro video and guidelines on how to use it and the workspace templates given
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helping me be able to work with clients and students one 1 single page and keep it organised. Its also acting as a database or "second brain" for me and makes it a 1 stop shop for all of my work which really saves time and makes it a very useful app
Notion is a great place for me to arrange all my ideas and deadlines.
What do you like best about the product?
Notion's streamlined interface and openness to customisation really carry the entire application. It continues to impress me in terms of potential regarding third-party integration (eg. Google Calendar) and updates like Notion AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Notion's between-device syncing is a bit irritating, and I would really like a more effective and intuitive offline experience using the application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is an all-in-one when it comes to project management and minimises the need for me to have multiple tabs or applications open just to manage each of my priorities. Notion AI has a long way to go in my opinion, but it's ability to paraphrase and to summarise is unmatched.
Notion review - The best AI Writing Assistant!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love AI Writing Assistant cause it helps me a lot in writing essays and reports for STEM.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just wish that we can move around texts and images in Notion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI writing assistant helps me paraphase, check grammars etc. as well as help me to review my notes by generating a bunch of questions for me to answers. I feel like my grades and my writing confidence have improved so much since I figured out AI Writing Assistant!
Use this for an office Wiki. Great for our team!
What do you like best about the product?
We use the Notion app for our office Wiki. We can simultaneously have all of our policies, procedures, documents, schedules, and other essential tools available to our entire team. I love the UI and the focus on aesthetics that Notion brings to the software.
I've been using Notion AI to summarize transcripts of meetings and training sessions in our office and create action steps and other lists based on the conversations. It does a great job of pulling out the essential details and decreases the time I would spend taking notes, listening back for critical points, or trying to create tools for our team based on our meetings and training.
I also use Notion AI for creative ideas for content titles, summaries, and ad copy. With a bit of editing for clarity, this tool is also exceptional for that use.

What do you dislike about the product?
I always struggle to adopt software with a Pay Per User structure fully. In my experience, there seems always to be a true user who gets the most out of the software and several others who are just using the tools created by the main user. I currently subscribe with one user and have kept everyone else as guests, this works just fine, but an real Wiki should allow other users to edit and share to maximize the effectiveness. We are unable to use it that way due to budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep organized. Our office has transitioned from "sticky notes" and binders full of out-of-date policies and procedures to an office home page with everything accessible to everyone in the office whenever they need it.
Notion & Notion AI
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a fantastic resource which acts as my 'second brain', being able to link pages together enables ideas, concepts & projects to seamlessly combine. I use it for my medical school notes and genuinely think linking concepts together has helped improve my knowledge in learning about different medical conditions and applying this to clinical cases in real life. Notion AI is fantastic for making my notes more concise, creating summary tables & asking quick questions which would take much longer sifting through google results!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be difficult to get images to 'slot in' exactly where i want in my notes. I would also like the ability to put bullet points within a table.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning all of the concepts and medical knowledge required for my studies at medical school. It is benefiting me to link different conditions and symptoms together usign the notion interface.
A solution for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion allows you to create dashboards that an apply to all kinds of different teams and workflows. Creating templates and managing projects is an extremely useful tool in the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion had a bit of a steep learning curve. It definitely needs some training or to go through the documentation to understand everything that needs to be done to successfully integrate it to the workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI has been a game changer for my productivity. It's quick, smart and accurate most times. It's been saving me a lot of time at writing all kinds of documents and summaries, as well as copy for my projects.
Best productivity (and life) tool I have!
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has been a great aid in helping me organize my chaotic life, both personally & professionally. I use notion professionally for anything from SOP document organization to workflow databases. Personally, I use notion for my travel planning, home management, and general tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
One hickup with notion would be the initial complexity. Of course now I am well seasoned with the general flow of how notion works but initially, where there is so much customization available, I could see how some would be intimidated to get started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A big issue that I have is management of various companies all at once, primarily regarding goals, OKR's, and projects. Notion has helped tremendously in staying on top of projects that need to be accomplished and being able to visually check if things are progressing in the right direction.
It’s a quite good experience but there can be improvements
What do you like best about the product?
It is excellent and gives good responses as an AI tool. It is better for writing content and also for academic papers. But it needs some improvements overall. It's a great tool that can be used for many things. I like that it allows you to make it longer, shorter etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are not dislikes. They are minor inconveniences, such as not showing the prompt I used to get the answer and the previous prompts while typing similar prompts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, it is mostly academic-related content such as research papers, case studies etc. I am more productive when I am using it. My performance has increased a lot after using it.
