Using Notion for personal and educational purposes.
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Notion for over a year now! In both managing my personal stuff, Mini business and mostly, my Education.
The best I can say that the templates and the pages can be varied based on whatever you want to organize.
I use the calendar format to keep daily track of my educational progress. And plan ahead of what I will do.

What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is very variant, a lot of people can get distracted by the very large amount of templates and formats that can be used. Some people prefer single use for each app. But Notion combines them all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is combining all the features I need: note taking, date-appropriate daily track of my work. Business management and lersonal life planner. I also ise it to plan any trip ahead.
Really easy to use and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I´m not an informatic girl, so all apps and programs are some hard to use and get used to. But notion had really good tutorials and templates, so in just 1 day or less you can learn and do some good organization pages ( that was my case). Now I use it for everything.
I had a problem understanding how to make relations and the support team was really helpful, with user-friendly language and so much patience!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Notion is that isn't available in Spanish, but it is already in German and English, and also many other languages. I would like a button inside to change myself the language sometimes because the language depends on the dispositive language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping me to organize everything: my personal projects like language learning, house chores, budgeting, year goals, habit tracker, wellness tracker, and journal.
But also Notion is helping me with my job applications, social media and volunteering.

Super intuitive and flexible
What do you like best about the product?
The checklist in two clicks and the language checker in both English and German
What do you dislike about the product?
In board mode, there's always one unnamed column for cards or tasks and it drives me nuts. I think are drawn to Notion because they are slightly ocd about organizing stuff and aesthetics of digital stationery so I think it goes against that
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For project managment and sub-tasks and sub-deadlines, keeping it all in one place and easily trackable. That's the problem Notion solved for me especially with the new update.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how it makes it easy to get started and make changes to the structure (e.g. switching from a list of bullet points to a checklist). I also love how it is continuously improving. Seeing the new features and improvements being announced on LinkedIn is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to link two (or more) databses in some way. E.g. joining two to do lists without having them in the same database. Also, we use Notion at work and I'm only a guest in our workspace and I can't use NotionAI unless an admin approves it for everyone. It would be nice to be able to do that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a place to do it all and have note-taking and project planning and a general knowledge base for everyone all in one place. It makes it incredible to use it with a team. We also added many people to the team and it's great that you don't have to be a Notion expert to start using it - less onboarding efforts at the start.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is for users to get started, and how they can create really good looking team spaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can't claim our domain so we can't stop users from creating new workspaces so there is sprawl. Also it's not currently possible to have an overview of all workspaces, each workspace must be individually managed, a nightmare when a user leaves the company. While end users are happy with Notion the admin side has a lot of maturing to do before it's truly fit for an enterprise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's not solving problems for me, users like it but it's creating lot work. And I think over time users will lose interest and stop updating it, there will be a lot of redundant information.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the way I can organize and create different strategies to manage and keep track of my projects and things I have to deal with and collect not only my professional life but also my personal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anything. I think you guys do a good job! There are so many options available that sometimes I don't know how to use the features to achieve my professional goals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Notion my team and I have been able to organize our projects and managed them together. I can be more productive because I know where to find the information I need and I feel my performance has improved since then.
My New Hub For Work
What do you like best about the product?
I am using it for both my personal and work organization. Instead of having a dozen or more tabs open on my PC , I use notion as my hub for easy access to everything I need to do my job. I work in academic administration and like that I can see everything in one place (student info, programs of study, linked calendars of events and tasks, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not crazy about the aesthetics of my dashboard as I am limited to where I can move items to. Also not excited about the exporting functioning. It does not export into what I have set out on my screen. I think it would be a bit of a learning curve for those not comfortable with tech, so not really a beginner's option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Microsoft Access for my student databases, but found this much more user friendly aside from the exporting functionality.
Notion made me a better team leader
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to share pages with people. I also love how you can put something on the page as a reference, and if the person doesn't have access, they won't even know it's there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Notion is you have to have an internet connection in order for it to work

It's helping me improve my own note taking, self thoughts, projects and managing people. It's helping my team build a better communication of our projects and clients. It makes working together as a team a little easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Whether you're a solopreneur or need to collaborate on a number of projects with a small team, Notion is all you need. Notion is more than just a note-taking app. Apart from its powerful features and beautifully designed UI, Notion has a wide range of templates, and everything on its pages can be customized. In addition, the free plan is more than enough for most people.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though Notion is an extremely useful tool for creating and organizing documents and projects, it can be challenging at first to learn how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For project management, I wanted a free app that allows me to design blank pages in the same way as a new blank word processor document.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can put a to-do list - or any list - anywhere in my journal, then reference it elsewhere. That way, I don't have to search back through my journal or have a special place for the list.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dates and times I embed in my journal entry (with /date) always default to a 12-hour format, and I like them in a 24-hour format. I would like to see Notion remember my setting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a full-stack developer working on a large project, Notion helps me focus on one thing at a time until it's done to specifications - or just the way I like it.
