Frees up your mind so you can achieve even more
What do you like best about the product?
Very flexible for saving and organizing different types of notes like images, text, numbers, and time to help managing projects
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes some time to learn how to use effectively. I had to watch trainings and study examples online to learn how to use well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing complicated decisions, like deciding on wedding venue for getting married or starting a new podcast
Notion helped me to organize and priorities my agendas
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is my second brain. It helped me to organize a lot of essential agendas coming up, as well as a lot of space for me to jot down everything that I am thinking of.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is that notion is a bit complicated to set up; I have to watch many tutorials to understand each feature's functionality. Some of the features require some coding. If block coding could be implemented, that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have problems organizing my items; I usually store notes and folders in different places. Notion allows me to keep my things on one page, and I could create a sub-page for further notes. Also, it will enable me to prioritize and set reminders about what I have to do in a day so I won't forget them. The main point that attracted me was the price. The notion is free for personal use; even if you did not pay for the premium tiers, the free plan's features are sufficient.
Great documentation repository, advanced features hard to teach to broader team
What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to create documents and customize formatting, whether you're tech-savvy or not. If you learn how to use the advanced features (databases, relation properties, formulas), Notion becomes exceptionally powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most people don't take the time to learn how Notion structures information, which complicates leveraging its more powerful features like databases. It's not enough that I know how to set up databases and relations. Other team members also have to learn how to use them for the system to work, and often they aren't willing to put in the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is the primary location for internal documentation, and links out to information that we have stored elsewhere so that we can go to one place to find anything we've made.
The best app for your custom workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Notion lets you create your ideal workspace.
Thanks to the various custiomisation options every user can find and archieve the perfect workspace according to his needs.
I love expecially the timeline and kanban views.

What do you dislike about the product?
Notion team decided to keep less *deep customisation* features such as a color picker for text and highlighting.
While the basic colours are enough for my needs, some of them need some adjustments.
For example the colours like yellow, orange and brown are very similar.
Another thing I don't like is the impossibility to make someone without an account edit a page.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all the tasks in one place.
Organize them in the way I like.
Share all the lists with colleagues.
If the circumstances change for some reason, Notion is flexible and can easily change.

A powerful tool with so much flexibility to fit anyones needs.
What do you like best about the product?
Notion addressed many issues I had with other productivity platforms. Incredible control, flexibility and freedom with how I want my workflows to be set up. I'm also a visual based person so the ability to have many different views for the same data set and colour code things to my hearts content is a joy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was quite a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. Sometimes finding controls to edit or adjust things would be hard to find at times. I also encountered a limitation with merging data sets in a specific way which, sadly wasn't able to fully rectified but support was very helpful with compromising solutions and mentioned they are looking into that functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problems of every other productivity or planning platform. I never got enough control or flexibility. Common tools or features locked behind specific paywalls.
Notion gives you a lot for their free tier, and you aren't restricted by their free team plan in features or capability.

Best all in one software for project management & wiki
What do you like best about the product?
Very versatile & customizable when it comes to databases & workflows, less on fonts/sizes, why helps to focus on what matters most
Databases are really useful, especially when linking them through rollups
I have started to play with their AI which is very powerful!

What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that I miss most is the ability to create graphs from data already used in Notion (eg. databases)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single source of truth when taking notes and managing projects
Having the ability to zoom from objectives to tasks when managing my projects

Notion is the second brain I've always needed
What do you like best about the product?
We're a tiny, lean team running a complex national training program. A regular work day involves event planning, grants management, project management, donor relations, teaching, evaluation, and finance administration. It's a lot, and Notion is a big part of why it's possible. We keep EVERYTHING in Notion, and between linked views, synced blocks, relations, and rollups, it's the perfect solution to let us see and manage all parts of the program in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The best thing about Notion is also the worst--it can do basically anything you want it to, which means that it can be super overwhelming for new team members. It also means that Notion prioritizes flexibility over ease--so functions in other systems that are easy (e.g. one-click) but limited are complicated (e.g. crafting the perfect formulae) but highly customizable. It's a worthwhile tradeoff, although some simplified functions for common Notion uses would be a great compromise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us with program management (with projects including event management, curriculum development, grants management system implementation, etc.), client and donor relations management, internal and external knowledge sharing, and much more.
Through integrations with Tally.so, various widgets, and other customizations, we're also using Notion as a temporary grants management system as we get the program up and running--everything from application acceptance to review to budgeting.

Notion
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to add and structure your data
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue with notion is the database table's unique key can not be changed to some thing else and sometime's needs to be hidden
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to organize my work and tasks both personal and professional and structure my work.
Project management
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool for taracking projects and as well documents process for all colleagues to have as a guide. As well the embedding features it is to go to a link with just one click.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the projects can be integrated to google calendar it will be great as it will be a great way to remind you for the projection as well if it can be integrated to some platform such as slack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management as it is easy to track task with this as well you can store all Knowledge base document and process in one app for all the user to be able to view and no need to go to other tools.
The Best Productivity/Life App Out There, Hands Down
What do you like best about the product?
The addition of charts to Notion databases has been game changing for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hoping for even more features in the future, such as a whiteboarding space within Notion, or a dedicated PDF editor, or the option to embed all files with view!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is my second brain. With every scrap of paper and deadline in my personal, educational, and professional life, it's hard to keep track. Notion lets me keep a detailed history of all my knowledge in one place, and I can organize it exactly as is best for my brain. I can share presentations and information-bases. I have everything I could ever need in one reliable place and access it from any of my devices.
