The long-time search for a all-in-one workplace is over

What do you like best about the product?
Finally, there is an app, which You can use to organise all the stuff You've got with the necessary context. You can store content as pages, tables, boards and lists. You can use many of available templates or create Your own ones, which does it for You. No more separate apps for tasks, knowledge bits, reading lists or helpful URLs - in Notion You can do better!
What do you dislike about the product?
As it's still a relatively "new" app of course it has it drawbacks: sometimes it's not super-fast (especially if You have a lot of information in pages and tables), some things are sophisticated (not saying "complicated" on purpose, but some people may struggle with a few features) and as there is no "one pil for all" templates You may find Yourself lost in the number of templates procided and, later, even frustrated as You still don't know which one to use. A "learning curve" is the word and for Notion it really takes some quality time to know Your instrument.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started using Notion for my work - I store and update information about my team, activities (projects, researches, presales and etc), log meeting notes and maintain knowledge base for myself and my colleagues. I used to do it all but in different apps (Things, SharePoint, Trello, JIRA, Confluence), but when You don't keep it connected sometimes You lose focus and context. Now that I have all bits of information connected I know anytime: who, where, what. The best thing for me - I started logging important decisions on Projects (how we prepare and conduct testing, how we prepare release, etc) and know I can easily shre this info with the project team and even appeal to these notes before client to support previous arrangements.

A1 Productivity tool!

  • October 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is easily the best productivity tool there is for a company - large or small. It's a one stop shop that teams can use to collaborate, delegate, and manage, keep everything organized and keep a track of their goals and tasks. It is very easy to use - one can create pages from scratch, color code them and even duplicate pages. It is also so simple to edit something in this. Above all, it makes working in a team so transparent and smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel it can offer a little more options in terms of fonts and colors. The interface can be bettered too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion to define, track and manage individual as well as team goals. We also use its 'public' feature to announce our event details. It just makes team collaboration really easy, transparent and healthy.

Notion is the best!

  • October 10, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is very flexible and powerful as it provides a lot of features under the same roof. Straight from jotting out some notes, making a "To-Do" list for some of your project work, create a database to making schedules and task management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such. It is a bit complex for beginners as it provides many features, but then that's what makes it so powerful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use Notion for writing notes to keep them organized and in one place. I also use it for keeping track of my personal daily tasks/assignments and team project management. Keeping track of deadlines and my daily routine and meeting schedules.

This flexibility makes it a great tool for a variety of different users, including students, professionals, and teams.Notion offers strong collaboration and sharing capabilities, which can be useful for teams or individuals working with others on projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
otion has limited integration with other software or systems. While the software has some integration capabilities, it may not be as comprehensive as other productivity tools. This can be an issue for users who rely heavily on integration with other tools or systems.

Customizability at its best, a rich community and constant innovation

  • September 30, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion lives up to its claims of an all-in-one productivity workspace. From maintaining lecture notes that can be structured based on customized templates, to keeping track of class attendances, top questions and points to discuss in class using calendars, to using timeline views to manage schedules, Notion has helped me and my tech-starved colleagues to take to the fully online mode of instruction very aptly.

Access sharing is easy, pages can be exported to PDF/CSV to be sent to administrative staff, and stuff is way more organized in the hierarchical structure than it was with the Google Docs-Google Drive combo that we used earlier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app could use some responsive improvement. A lot of the times, moving around tasks and delegating them to other departments needs to happen when one is not in contact of a physical machine, and it's a pain to do it on the mobile app. Integration support with GCal has also been a long time coming, and having to make do with community driven third party tools works, but isn't good enough as a native integration
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems being solved :

- Attendance management
- Lecture notes
- Class schedules
- Theses planning
- Seminar flow planning
Benefits
- Single document store to house variety of use cases and artifacts in a hierarchical fashion
- Extremely customizable, meaning that it tweaks to our requirement, not the other way round
- Appealing to the eye - we actually feel like using it, rather than looking at it with the same dread with which we open our emails
