Notion has streamlined our entire company
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has allowed us to put all of our information into one place. We can build pages for whatever purpose we want, adapting it as our company needs. It's made remote working really simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest part of Notion is exporting information in a format you want. Database CSV exports don't include the value if it is linked to another database, so we can't always export things in a way that is useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We keep track of press coverage for clients, all task management, staff training, Human Resources, client notes, and have built. knowledgebase to share without clients that is updated in real time. And it looks good so we don't need to spend time formatting it for clients.
Speedy Support, Easy to Note-Take & Design, Easy to Access
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to share/create a single page such as a team wiki, while also keeping all the information together. There is no need to scroll through files to find documents because there is a quick search functionality. If you need help, the Notion Support team is available through live chat and responds promptly. At times, you get a newsletter email that is signed off by the CEO and feels personal. They're always releasing new features, which my team is able to efficiently utilize. Notion has a lot of possibilities ranging from building your own website, writing beautiful documentation, or project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Notion Support team misses the question you are asking and provides a canned response. It sometimes feels like going in a loop trying to solve your issue. There isn't an offline mode, therefore, some outages result in losing access to modifying to viewing your work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows my team to create a public help center, while also building internal documentation. As we organize documents in one single place, many members of the team can view them as they are being onboarded, and we can import data from other resources in a familiar interface.
An All in One Tool
What do you like best about the product?
the new Ai Agent is really usefull, i use it a lot, to create new database but also to fill databses, to create content, ... i use also use a lot the meeting notes ai feature
What do you dislike about the product?
it would be great to have multiple ai agents with workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a digital marketer. And i use it as a dashboard for my project and each of my client have his own notion space.
Everything I do involves Notion
What do you like best about the product?
You can customize documentation, tracking, and dashboards as if you were creating your own website. I also love using Notion Databases using linked fields and custom views so that everything is updated in each version, as you add new information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you go down the rabbit hole of wanting to use Notion for everything, you want more and more functionality. However, for its purpose, Notion does exactly what it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process documentation, activity tracking, and reporting help decrease the time spent answering recurring questions, create consistency in our team, and make sure we are consistently giving updates on our KPIs.
All-in-one workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is my one-stop platform for collating all my company's workflow processes, documents and project management. I don't have any need for another platform!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be glitchy showing 'previews' of external webpages - like Sheets integrated etc. Would be great to be able to 'archive' pages as well, if I was done using that particular page but wanted to save it for future reference. Currently I have a page called "archive" where I send all my old pages to "die".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of having multiple platforms to check daily. I now only have to check one place for my daily tasks, see how projects are tracking, and access all relevant documents for each project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Watch lots of YouTube videos to set it up in the best way possible!
Best Software for wiki purposes and to build a knowledge base
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the building block style structure of Notion. You can nest as many as pages you want. There are different elements you can add in notion. This makes notion so powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like the project management features of notion. It takes some effort to build your workflow and take some effort to maintain it as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It serves as the wiki for our company. All our project details, vision, marketing, brainstorming, research, high-level roadmap, employee details, product specs lie on notion. I use it personally as well to build my knowledge base. Everything I read and listen to will go into notion creating a knowledge base that I use for my own writing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a place to build your knowledge base, notion is perfect. But if you are looking it for project management do some research and see if it fits your workflow. It not good for quick note taking as well. Use some other tools like apple notes or google keept to take quick notes.
Flexible and easy to use for non-techy members
What do you like best about the product?
This is basically a wiki-ish product where all the information from something development-related documents or a sprint planning board to the HR or general affaire team to communicate with workers around their recent corporate-wide update topics.
It has the basic functionalities to document any type of information with the simple mark-down capabilities without using a mouse or a tracpad and this makes things simple and efficient.
It has the basic functionalities to document any type of information with the simple mark-down capabilities without using a mouse or a tracpad and this makes things simple and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its search capability is not strong enough. It would be great if we could search documents, pages, and contents with more criteria such as relevancies and filters.
I have found that the capability of google calendar integration is weak.
Notion's calendar (database) view should have more capabilities in its visibility other than "monthly", such as weekly or quarterly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sorting out issues around any kind of workstream using a board view in its database feature, collecting terminologies and creating a dictionary for newcomers to understand all the jargon across the company.
Our HR team is building pages for internal rules and regulations, and the employee engagement team is publishing internal newsletters on Notion for company-wide communication.

One of the best applications for managing your daily tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is an all-time destination for daily task management. It has everything you need to manage your daily work, note down things, attach links and documents, share it with people, and also you can work collaboratively with other people. It has checkboxes, lists, headers, sub-titles, and many more things that you need to make it useful for your daily needs. I've seen people converting notion pages to websites which can be done using 3rd party tools. It also has great integrations with other apps to import and export notes. They also have numerous templates for easy work start.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion has good features but they are in a way restricted in the way of placement. We don't get that freedom of placing our content in a way we want just like we do on open canvases. It has a weird placement of columns if we want to keep them side by side. It has limited options for custom icons for the pages. We cannot drag the cover image if we want it to be big.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has increased productivity a lot. I've been using Notion for a while and I've seen myself increasing productivity and wasting less time. It has everything and anything that you want for your work. You can easily note down things in a way you like. The pre-built templates make it easier for users to start with their work. The integration of importing notes from other popular note-taking apps has become useful for users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Amazing one-stop destination for all your note-taking and building tools.
Notion : a life-changing tool
What do you like best about the product?
Notions' features make sense. They allow me to boost my creativity and thinking process by providing a way to organize my life and work more efficiently.
The support is super responsive and bugs are dealt with extremely fast.
The support is super responsive and bugs are dealt with extremely fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the tool is very flexible, it might not be flexible enough just yet (mostly thinking about the databases which could use some improvements with the whole formulas and "calculate" fields)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly organizational problems as stated earlier. I like having things ordered to concentrate on the big picture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Notion can seem overwhelming at the beginning: take your time and try learning whilst having fun.
Everyone needs to be on Notion
What do you like best about the product?
How revolutionary it is! It truly is one of the best pieces of software I have used in years. It has many different features rolled into one place - it's like having Excel, Word, OneNote, SharePoint, OneDrive and PowerPoint in one place. The Database functionality is fantastic (Excel take notes). It is like an avid user has built it with all the parts that Excel is missing. Also, having integrations with Zapier has been a life saver, the forms to Notion functionality has helped the adoption of Notion! We're hoping within a year, the whole company will be avid Notion users!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't that much to fault, I would say the main improvement is the ability to have paragraphs and not for text to be broken into lines. Makes it easier when building templates into Notion and then copying them into emails for example! Also, I'd love to see a duplicate and move function instead of them being two separate functions as I do a lot of copying and moving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a business, everything was everywhere. Everyone worked slightly differently and it was hard to look at past work, we would start again at the start of every project. With Notion, we're able to build project templates for our employees to use again and again. It is easy to search for past projects to find examples of work. We're looking at Notion now as a library of information for the company!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it!! It's a leap of change but well worth it!
