Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
The Varonis Data Security Platform allows us to see who has access to what data. We can also see who is sharing data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not the primary for administering the Platform, but my team hasn't mentioned anything they don't like about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data access and data sharing visibility; data classification
Amazing Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
Varonis allows our team to see the bits and pieces of our file system that goes unseen by the normal admin. It allows us to gain insight to open access and permissions that should not be there so that we can fix them. Our environment is overall safer because of this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that Varonis does that I don't like. The only thing that I could think to bring up in regards to dislikes would be in the area of reporting. While reporting with Varonis is extremely versatile as it is out of the box, there is no way to create a wholly custom report with access to all report fields. If this would be implemented, this product would be near perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our environment has a lot of sensitive data in the form of PHI. Varonis allows us to see into open access and the locations of sensitive data in our environment so that it can be remediated and locked down appropriately.
The best experience with Varonis Data Security Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The Varonis Data Security Platform is Userfriendly because there are a lot dashboard ans reporting already done.
In addition, it covers a lot of perimeter (Office 365 / Active DIrectory / Fie server / Proxy / Vpn / ...).
It also provides archiving in the conservation of logs.
Finally, it is very easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing, the interface in French.

The Varonis Data Security Platform solving several things :

-Who create / modify / delete object in active directory
-Who access mailbox or sharepoint.
