Acumatica for Distribution
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Acumatica is easy to use and intuitive. It's also great that it can be configured and customized to fit our business needs, which improves efficiency and accuracy in our operations. The platform helps in improving our daily workflow and automating processes, so we can manage exceptions without having to manually intervene in everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have a great need for a deferred revenue module for distribution that allows us to invoice orders while keeping a shipment open for delivery at a later date. Additionally, we need the capability to manage consigned inventory from the vendor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica provides efficiency and accuracy, improving our service to customers. It improves daily workflow, automates processes, allowing our team to manage exceptions.
Effortlessly Customizable and User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Acumatica provides easy organization of data, which helps streamline my back-office services. I like that it's easy to customize, which allows me to tailor the experience to my needs. The grid features are particularly useful; they support easy filtering and sorting without the need to run a report. I also find the ability to easily export from any grid to be very convenient. Additionally, the setup was easy to follow, making the initial stages smooth. Overall, these features make Acumatica very valuable to me.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Acumatica provides easy organization of data, supports easy filtering and sorting on grids without running reports, is easy to customize, and allows easy export from any grid.
Highly Customizable ERP, Some Reporting Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Acumatica allows us to work more efficiently with our current FTE and scale faster without having to add more FTE. I appreciate the customizability of the platform where users can tailor it to suit their business. Additionally, the generic inquiries function is great as it allows you to build your own inquiries with data points that are relevant to your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting aspect needs work. Building reports is clunky and could be improved for usability and also the speed at which they can be created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica lets us work efficiently with our current staff and scales without adding more. Its customizable platform and generic inquiries function mean we can tailor it with relevant data points for our business.
Integrates Seamlessly and Inspires Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica for its ability to integrate any application into the system and the data visualization. I made a custom CPQ software that integrates with Acumatica to create estimates faster. The dashboards are very helpful for quickly reporting results to stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement. The initial setup was smooth, with only minor snags, and our VAR provided a lot of help. Six months in, we're doing great.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the manufacturing side, clocking in and out is confusing. The planning module needs to get better, but all those things it sounds like they are working on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica provides trustworthy data and helps in efficient shop estimation. I create estimates faster with custom CPQ software integration, and dashboards enable quick reporting and improvement insights.
Mobile Access and Flexibility Shine, Reports Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Acumatica's mobile access in a world that increasingly requires EASY access from anywhere. It's a nice change from our legacy system, which had matured to the point where growth was stunted. I also like that Acumatica is a young product with plenty of room to grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
More reports available out of box at implementation are desperately needed-new customers learning a new system do NOT need to have to learn how to do a GI or master reporting software just to get the data they need. The report designer lacks much to be desired... complete overhaul is in order. Lack of basic out-of-box reports was a big headache and stressor. Knowing I had to reinvent the wheel, to get something I knew other customers also needed, was frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for easy access from anywhere, which supports our increasingly mobile workforce and offers a refreshing change from our previous system.
Intuitive Usability, Worthwhile Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's usability because it's very intuitive and simple to understand. I also appreciate the great VAR support. Our VAR is attentive and good to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the dashboard system could be easier to navigate for beginning users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to manage all my data, creating a digital version of my business. It’s very intuitive and simple, with great VAR support, making it pleasant to work with.
Streamlined Multi-Department Operations, Great UI
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's user interface because it's easy to use and navigate. It's great that end users can process orders faster and quickly access the data our customers need. I also appreciate how it connects departments by providing cross-departmental information in dashboards. The initial setup was great, as we worked together as a team and had a very successful go-live.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that we're not able to see availability of non-stock kits to sell to our customers. We had to develop a custom SQL table, but we're limited to where that data is available to our end users and customers. There's also an issue with our SPS Commerce integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to remove 7 different software applications with Acumatica, creating a single system of truth.
Scalable ERP with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's ability to scale, allowing me to add new companies effortlessly. I also appreciate having a standard chart of accounts and shared customers and vendors, which streamline operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think customizations and reports could be improved in Acumatica.

Acumatica helps manage ERP needs in the travel and manufacturing industries and allows scalability by adding new companies with a standard chart of accounts and shared customers and vendors.
All-in-One Solution and a True Source of Truth
What do you like best about the product?
It is an all in one solution, one source of truth

It’s been a challenge to learn at first.

It reduced the number of systems we had in place.
Intuitive ERP with Seamless Integration, Needs Better Native CPQ
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's intuitive UI, which makes the barrier for entry easy. It's set up well for integrations and customizations, allowing it to feed into and be driven by existing systems. I also find the cost to be very competitive, making the larger more Enterprise ERP options less enticing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CPQ functionality is limited. Although there are external systems that can be bolted on to handle this, it would be better if this was native functionality in the tool. There are two major things the current system doesn't handle well. The first is multi-level BOMs. Being able to create BOMs with configurations and stack them on top of each other to create a larger product, while maintaining the ability to configure each subassembly on a sales order or quote is key. The second is the ability to integrate with CAD systems like SolidWorks, where engineers build their models that house the rules for how to update the BOMs as configurations change. Also, much of the necessary data isn't available at initial setup, so we have to standardize and collect it, which makes the process long.

I use Acumatica to have a single source of truth for data, allowing for timely and accurate business decisions.
