Modern, High-Performance Courses with Helpful Hints, AI Summaries, and Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
I love how the courses are structured: first the theory is explained, then there’s a practical demonstration before you’re encouraged to have a go yourself. If you get stuck at any point, the hints are really useful for guiding you in the right direction. I love how things like Excel and Power BI are integrated as a web session and the course files are available to download, so users can choose to use their desktop version or used the integrated web session. The performance of the app is excellent, and the UI is sleek and modern. When I lost progress on my account one time, customer support were able to quickly restore it. I also love the AI summaries you get when you get questions wrong, as well as the AI courses they offer and webinars too. I would describe DataCamp as a very 'up to date' company with regards to technology, UI, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the web sessions have to reload every now and then, and there could be better and more MCQs, especially for the skill tracks that lead to a certification. I’d also love it if ChatGPT/Claude/Copilot could run as integrated web sessions, because my company has banned them, so I can’t take those courses unless I’m on my personal laptop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping me build my AI and software skills, which should support me in landing a good graduate role in the future. It’s also helped me learn all the course material I need for the PL-300, which I’m currently revising for.
Interactive Projects with Clear, Helpful Explanations
What do you like best about the product?
The projects and exercises/slides are very interactive, with helpful hints and clear solution explanations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Help option- I can’t get past the lesson if there’s even a minor spacing error in the code. As a learner, it’s hard to identify what’s wrong, and I ended up spending a lot of time trying to figure it out.

Concise, Well-Structured Chapters Make Learning Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The courses are broken up into concise chapters which make it easier to understand the concepts

Due to my location in South Africa some of the courses are at odd times for me due to the different time zones.

I am learning how AI can be integrated and used in everyday business operations. Still learning the basics for now but it will help me streamline mundane tasks

I like how DataCamp breaks down learning by having the AI interact with me, filling in gaps that static learning doesn't. I appreciate the way the AI generates answers based on my responses, making it feel like an actual teaching interaction rather than a multi-choice course. The initial setup was really simple, just a link and a sign-up.

What do you like best about the product?
I use DataCamp to build and practice my skills, which helps improve my performance at work. I find the interactive exercises really helpful as they make learning faster and easier to understand. I'm particularly excited about the interactive learning with the AI, like the Claude 101 course, which allows me to practice prompts in a real AI environment without spending money on actual AI software. The setup is simple too, as I just need to log in and choose a course. I appreciate that I can just learn from the website by watching video lessons and answering questions. It's definitely a platform I would recommend 100% to friends and colleagues.

i REALLY LIKE THE HANDS-ON LEARNING PART.

It could be more detailed, like if some practice I am doing if I am stuck there should be detail explanation to resolve it.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate DataCamp for its structure and the range of training modules. The interactive mode is engaging, and as I progress, the modules challenge me to think critically, drawing my attention back to my role and what I can do best. I value that the range starts as basic as an introduction to data and extends to topics like AI at work, prompt engineering, and AI ethics, which make sense to me as a business leader. DataCamp also offers courses for those interested in developing coding skills and creating AI tools for themselves. Personally, it was easy to log in and choose the required module to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be helpful if DataCamp offered a good summary download and a deck of summary. It would also be beneficial if DataCamp asked about the nature of my work and my team, and then offered guidance on how AI could be deployed effectively within those boundaries.

I use DataCamp to improve my skills, guide my team, and enhance productivity. It offers interactive training modules that make me think critically and apply AI effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the short videos, which are followed by quick practice exercises. The flashcards are also great for reviewing the material I’ve learned.

Exploring the tracks and courses would be more useful if there were roadmaps or suggested routes to guide you.
