What do you like best about the product?
I love using Gumlet for hosting my videos as it provides a robust and easy-to-navigate user interface. The platform's user interface is so intuitive that there is virtually no learning curve, making onboarding new users a breeze. One of the standout features for me is the powerful player capabilities Gumlet offers. I also find it a great alternative to other platforms like Vimeo and YouTube because it is ad-free, ensuring a smooth viewing experience for my audience. The initial setup was quite straightforward, and I particularly appreciate how I can easily embed videos on my website using Gumlet. These attributes combined make Gumlet a valuable tool for my video hosting needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
When trying to upload videos with DRM using Gumlet, the processing speed is much slower compared to videos uploaded without DRM. This extended processing time results in delays in workflows, which can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gumlet to host videos without ads, providing a good alternative to Vimeo and YouTube. Its easy interface and robust player make onboarding simple, although DRM video processing can be slow.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Gumlet daily for the past year. What I appreciate most about Gumlet are six key features that truly stand out. To begin with, videos stream remarkably fast on my clients' WordPress websites, which has a significant impact. I also find the ability to embed CTA links and lead forms directly within videos very valuable. The DRM tools are another strong point, along with the intuitive design of the Dashboard's UI and UX which impacts the ease of use, implementation, and integrating videos into my client projects. Furthermore, I find it extremely helpful to be able to embed video thumbnails in different email applications. Finally, the support I have received has been excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, a video takes longer than expected to process. I understand that Gumlet likely handles thousands of videos in its queue each day. On the positive side, their support has been excellent, and recent updates have noticeably improved processing times. I would also appreciate the ability to send embedded lead form email alerts to a recipient of my choosing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gumlet serves as an excellent alternative to Vimeo. Our clients require engaging video tutorials both on their websites and within our support ticketing system, and Gumlet provides the features we need to deliver this experience.

I really appreciate the video play customization options and the CNAME feature, which enable me to seamlessly blend my brand for users. Moreover, the initial setup was relatively easy, making the transition to Gumlet smooth and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limited native integration with automation platforms, such as ActivePieces. This lack of integration options can hinder the ability to seamlessly automate workflows and connect Gumlet with other tools that are essential for our operations.

Gumlet Finally Gave Me Speed, Control and Real Protection for My Course Videos
What do you like best about the product?
The speed is the first thing that convinced me. Videos load instantly, even for students outside Europe, and I stopped getting messages about buffering or playback issues. Uploading huge 4K files is effortless and I never have to compress anything. The DRM is the second big win. My paid content is finally protected in a way that Vimeo never managed to deliver. The dynamic watermarking with viewer details gives me real confidence that my course videos stay where they belong. Add custom branding, subtitles in multiple languages, analytics that actually help me improve lessons, and Gumlet feels like a tool built for serious creators.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface takes a bit of learning. Some settings are tucked away and I had to click around before everything made sense. The plan structure based on total video duration means I need to plan my uploads more carefully. Folder organisation could be smoother and more intuitive. None of these are deal breakers, but they are points that could be improved to make the product even stronger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gumlet solves three major problems for me: slow playback, lack of content protection, and expensive monthly hosting. Students now experience fast video loading on any device. My courses are secured with real DRM and watermarking, which protects my revenue. And the one time lifetime access means I no longer pay high recurring fees for hosting large amounts of training material. Everything loads instantly inside my website, and I have full control over branding, analytics, languages and quality. For a creator with hundreds of videos, this combination is a huge upgrade.
Relief for hybrid live formats – stable, synchronized, and in good quality
What do you like best about the product?
I use Gumlet for online courses and a hybrid format that consists of a mix of Zoom live streaming and watching videos together. Videos shared over Zoom are completely unusable for us – everything comes through ultra-pixelated and choppy.
With Gumlet, I can upload videos that even work in 4K, and everyone automatically gets the quality that their own internet connection can handle. That makes a huge difference.

For live streaming, it would be great if there were permanent streams. Currently, the stream is automatically set to inactive and archived 30 minutes after I turn off the stream in OBS. As a result, I have to create a new stream for each event and set it up again in OBS – this is tedious and time-consuming. But this topic is at the top of the development pipeline, so I'm looking forward to when it's available.

We are watching the same video synchronously in the group. It must run smoothly and the audio must not lag, otherwise the whole process becomes chaotic. With Gumlet, it works easily – no interruptions, no reloading, no panic. We could never have realized this over Zoom, which is why Gumlet really means a relief and a piece of security for me in a format that is very dear to my heart and where the user experience determines whether people will book the event again.

I love that they do 1 thing and they do it very well. From the UI to features/functionality and the customer service... it's all A+

The fact that you can't really grow a subscriber base with Gumlet like you can with YouTube. I know it's primarily for private videos but I would love to see them expand in that direction.

Whenever we need to update a video, we can do it centrally, and the changes are reflected everywhere instantly, with no hassle at all.
