A fast, customisable video hosting option.
What do you like best about the product?
The speed of loading videos is a strength of Gumlet. The customisation options are also strong and you can change icons to brand colours, add logos and chapters as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve for beginners with limited guides and how-to's available. The auto-subtitles is an interesting feature but didn't work particularly well when I tried it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to use gumlet instead of other free video hosting options like youtube has made our videos look more professional.
Seems like a hidden gem
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of features I liked and security is among them. Other than that, the ability to create channels. its analytics and most importantly the speed for uploading videos. The video CMS concept is great for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took some time to get used to the philosophy of the tool. The platform is good, the UI is not bad but it took me a few hours to understand the placement of the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool is ideal for me because I want to secure my videos and have a sustainable solution for that. I have tried other similar tools but they were clunky and full of bugs.

the gumlet user interface is so simple and easy to use and their support team is amazing. they respond quickly and provide detailed responses. they also are available at nearly all times

they need to integrate with more providers but this will come with more time and patience. its the old priority game every product out there has to play. keep it up team

i want a solid provider without the crazy costs that others try and sting you with. i also want something that is easy to use and that is super reliable for our audience.
THE Vimeo alternative
What do you like best about the product?
If you need an alternative to Vimeo then Gumlet is the solution.
It has all the features you need, and it works very well. If you want to make a membership site, have private videos per domain, and good user experience at a reasonable price I recommend it. Plus the support is fast and efficient.

It is a growing product and has room for improvement. It may be that very specific features are missing or are still on the roadmap.
We have to give them time, although for me they can replace Vimeo perfectly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me what it specifically solves is to be able to have private and domain protected videos. So you can have a private academy or membership site with the videos embedded inside and even if they take the URL of the video they can't play it anywhere.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to Use: Users appreciate Gumlet's user-friendly interface. The platform is easy to navigate, making it simple for even non-technical users to optimize their images and videos effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
While my overall experience with Gumlet Video has been positive, I do find myself wishing that 4K video optimization was included in my current plan. It's a feature that would certainly enhance the tool's value for me and provide even greater flexibility in managing my video content. Nonetheless, even without 4K optimization, Gumlet continues to deliver on its promise of efficient video compression and seamless streaming.

It contains all of the intellectual property protections you desire and more. The founder is committed to continuously improving the product.

Like any new platform the integrations are a work in progress but quickly getting there.

Great Vimeo Replacement
What do you like best about the product?
This is a one-stop shop for people hooked on Vimeo for years. It provides an excellent replacement platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can be a hurdle and slow the learning curve for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were stuck using Vimeo with limited upload capabilities and embed options. Gumlet's generous capacity and embed options allow for excellent results.
Very customizable and smooth video experience

I was running my video campaings in another video solution that got from a LTD here in AS as well, but I suffered a lot to listen to video related events (play, pause, progress, etc).
Gumlet already offers a documentation for us to develop the custom features we need and this improves my marketing data A LOT.

The player could also focus more on conversion features, but I understand that this is not the direction they are following.
I still need more time to understand the software as a whole, but for my use case it is a valid option.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with VSLs. I need a fast and smooth hosting provider so my campaigns can deliver the video without issues to hold the prospect attention. Also, being able to listen to videoplayblack events through JS enables to me have huge control over features and experiences I want to provide for the user watching the video.
