Teamcenter enables Digital Transformation with ease
What do you like best about the product?
AWC usability of the engineering at ease and rich features across the life cycle and show persona based user interface for easy navigation and hosting operations
What do you dislike about the product?
cumbersome to install configure setup the db and manage it. Particularly in the environments with limited database choices and approved choices for cusotmers IT teams
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sustainablity across the global suppply chain to collect, improve the efficiency and meet latest regulatory requirements from the different geographies and product families
Teamcenter PLM
What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter has allowed our customers to consolidate their data in a centralized hub. This allows integrations to be made with other systems. Bringing data together in a commonplace for the enterprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the system has not been configured, and the data volume increases, the performance can get slower for inserting data and performing fetches. Removing the Thin Client has slowed down simple searches, especially when working with multiple environments and opening the Rich Client is not feasble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data Migration, Integration and Reporting. Transferring data between vendors. Mapping the different data models. Creating dashboards that link data using the eQube DAAS Platform.

What do you like best about the product?
It is highly configurable and customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is often difficult to understand how a particular widget (data type, property, template, etc.) is supposed to be used. E.g. we subclassed Specification to create a place to store process spec documents ("apply coating per spec 12435"), not knowing it was *intended* to be used with the requirements spec template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CAD management; part/EBOM configuration management, component engineering, material definitions, environmental health & Safety.

What do you like best about the product?
MCAD-ECAD to PLM eBOM creation/manage changes through realtime model visualizations. Make easy to design and release. easily track changes through active change.
What do you dislike about the product?
TCRA reports and analytics is too complex process. Not easy to configure and not user friendly. Out of the box reports are not usable for business needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
establishing integrations with multi cad design tools to reduce the overall time taken to create eBOM and publish to ERP systems through T4S.

What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter is a great collaboration platform that allows interaction and integration with a variety of platforms and applications for the entire product lifecycle
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile access could be improved to allow users to access and manage data on the go

Business process standardization, part reuse, part management
Teamcenter Admin Perspective
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to add your own customizations in any approach that you want to is unparalleled and well documented. Installation of an OOTB instance of Teamcenter is as easy as a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The rich client having a Java back end causes some hangups and a few memory leaks, as well as licensing issues. Moving production to active workspace should be the priority for all companies, despite a potentially slow adoption process by end-users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Issues with the rich client's cache are unavoidable, making it necessary to clear the cache frequently to stop freezes. Having a process that automatically clears the cache has made this problem much more manageable.

Improve gtac service. Enhance product quality. Enhance Regression Testing

It accepts all types of specs needed to complete a part for vendors.

Now understand some of the errors in release.

Keeping track of changes, moving back a few saves. The ease of revising and save as.
An innovative and user friendly interface
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of this product is very nice. Very functional and practical in terms of data storage and communication between different applications. In my opinion the best PLM system in the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing. I think it is the best tool in the industry. Way better than Windchill and much for user friendly. If i had to have a complaint it would be that more of my team doesn't use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross application data storage for MCAD/ECAD. This product has made this possible where others could not support the process. The ease of use has also increased productivity.
Integration of Teamcenter with creo parametric is very nice
What do you like best about the product?
Framework of Teamcenter is very good. Also short cut commands are easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Execution of workflows is lengthy process.
