What do you like best about the product?
It is specifically used for 3D simulation.

Everything is good. There is nothing to discuss dislike in this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I realized this software makes my job easier when I try to solve the data simulation. I mean it simulates data very well.

What do you like best about the product?
TC offers a wide array of commands that can be very helpful with the Product Lifecycle Management in your organization
What do you dislike about the product?
It has many commands that you should be aware of in order to maximize its use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TC has been very useful in my experience in Change Processes. It offers to simplify complex processes through workflows.
Teamcenter is a great software for PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) but it's not widely used
What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter integrates our process in Emerson from customer se/client enquiries to the engineers, manufacturing up to finishing the product. It also integrates the softwares that we are using like Solid Edge for CAD design
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter is somehow not used worldwide maybe because it was later developed than the other competitor softwares. Before we were using agile for Product Lifecycle Management in Emerson. And sometimes we have problem in integrating some software like Pro-E for CAD design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Downloading time of CAD files from our server. Emerson is a global company and our engineers are scattered worldwide and editing the CAD files as per their requirement at different locations; thus, if I have to open the same file after the engineer edit from other continent, It took a long time and sometimes having errors because some of the CAD files are inmy cache; However, the customer Service representative of Siemens are all available 24 hrs so it's a great help to us and they are teaching us to solve this issues
Pretty easy interface for beginners.
What do you like best about the product?
Makes my job easy. Best product life management software. Easy product revisions and good workflow for approvals. Easily gets connected to different continents. Analyzing and categorising stuff is pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I face ultra lag few times and it hangs when I try to copy metadata of multiple parts which is quite annoying though it happens rarely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I draft multiple parts of a marine engine for which I find references of old drawings from the database in Teamcentre. Copy metadata from old parts to new parts. Update weight of a component, name, category etc..which comes under metadata.
These all can be done in very few minutes unless the system hangs.

Very good interface. Easy to understand. Can be real good at it in a month.

The architecture of this tool should be more user friendly.

I was managing product life cycle with help of this software.

It's a nice tool for an organisation who are looking for high level of productivity for PLM.

What do you like best about the product?
I used Teamcenter in the auto-industry and I was working in a location that didn't have easy access to the manufacturing plant. Teamcenter made it easy to understand the business workflow, have access to the list of team members working in several different vehicle projects and create product designs. It was a very integrated environment and greatly helpful to keep a track of project status.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter is a unique experience for everyone and I believe setting it up and being a new user can be overwhelming. There were many features that were unknown until someone shared the information. Again, the way a company utilizes Teamcenter can differ and getting hardly any help from Teamcenter can be difficult sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the auto-industry, Teamcenter was used to integrate with a CAD software (in this case, Siemens NX). Product designs were maintained and changes in different stages were recorded, files such as CAD designs, product photos, drawings, team-members and project status were maintained. My favorite feature was being able to see how our vehicles were related to the other and which project it really belonged to, because it made it easier for me to carry out case studies to improve the vehicles.
Teamcenter has reduced the time spent in researching to solve problems, simplified my work by showing me potential and related previous projects and given me a clear picture of the workflow in my company even though I couldn't participate in the physical manufacturing location.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely requires a week's time (beginner) to understand how the business or organization works with Teamcenter for their products and services. It is important to have some training before you start working with the product because it is easy to make mistakes if you hurry through it quickly. Ask your company for the features such as - software integration, how to implement changes, standard worksheets, procedural manuals, viewing who made changes, changing licenses, etc.

Best Engineering design tool for building designs, structures etc. Having centralized place to complete engineering phase of product. Easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Teamcenter has the ability to store different segments of information in the same system. I used it for Artwork routing, standard storage and tracking, and technical drawing storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hated that it was so finicky to get up and running. Teamcenter was completely dependent on my computer defaulting to the only version of Adobe reader that Teamcenter wanted to use. The problem is that my computer would automatically default to a different version of Teamcenter. So, my tech person would come (days later), uninstall Adobe, reinstall Adobe correct version, block updates and then I could do my work. Then, a few weeks later, my computer would auto update which would send me back to square one.

Artwork routing. Drawing routing, aproval and storage, standard label creation, approval and storage

Include users of the program when you build team center processes. Make sure that all users have the correct drivers and supporting software to use teamcenter

What do you like best about the product?
I am working at Automobile Industry and the industry uses always Teamcenter to find related CAD data because we have a lot of CAD model and these can be properly stored in Teamcenter and ı can access whenever I want ,this is the best solution for big industries

Teamcenter is a solution which integrated with Vismockup but it works slowly and it gives error sometimes
